We love Andersen's. Food was good as usual. However, the gift shop area as gone way down hill. It used to remind us more of how a Cracker Barrel does their stuff. Now it's just filled with cheap junk you can pick up anywhere. Was...More

After spending the night in Buellton we stopped here mostly for the gift shop. Seeing the Danish bakery on entering, my wife wanted to pick up a few items. They were marginal. The items we saw later in Solvang looked much better. Crisper, less doughy....More

We had the soup/half sandwich option - it was ok, portions not amazing. Soup slightly too blended though tasty. For us, stumbling across this place on way from LA to Big Sur Coast it was a novelty. I don't think I would go back if...More

Excellent, delicious and creamy pea soup. I don't like pea soup but I do like Anderson's. If you like it at the restaurant, then grab some cans to go from the store they have.

Who knew you could order Anderson's delicious Pea Soup as part of an eggs and pancake breakfast??!! Almost more than I could eat in one sitting. Soup is great and very filling. Will defintely dine here again.

Good was good service not so much. Took a long time to get our food and the place only had two other tables with customers.

The food was average. I tried the Pea Soup for the first time and it was not what I thought it would be. It was more like a warm blending Pea smoothy. Not much more flavor then that. Maybe it was from the day before...More

Four of us had dinner 8/19/2017 and the food was very average. I had salmon. Our server, Miguel was attentive which I appreciated but the people bussing the tables threw dishes and utensils into the bus tray making a terrible racket. This is not necessary...More

This place is a wonder. Full of old school nostalgia for restaurants of old, Pea Soup Anderson's is more of an attraction than a restaurant. There is a huge gift shop, a museum, even multiple dinning rooms and function rooms (the latter I've never seen...More

I do not think so. It is an old established restaurant from back in the 50s, and they have kept the same menu. There are very good salads - the soup is to die for -- and you can always pick from the menu??
