Only tried this restaurant once on delivery and had the lamb and tekka kabobs and some other dishes. I can't say it's authentic as we've never been to Afghanistan (been to over 60 other countries) but if it's the food they have there then it sure is dumb of them fighting, they should just go to the restaurants. When the fighting ends I'd go there just for the food. This place is good!- gotta try more dishes. Try it if you want something different and delicious. I'll be back for sure. Have no idea what the restaurant looks like or the service. We go to restaurants for the food not the ambiance (not that we don't like fancy places).

We go here often. It is a family owned restaurant serving great Afghan food. The food is fresh and made to order. When the cook makes his vegetable soup we all order that to go with our meal. They make goid desserts ad well but we are always too full to be able to enjoy them.

Our meal here was awesome! We started with the Banjan Dip. Very tasty and the bread was great. Lady had the tri-tip over rice – great. I had the Kabuli Pallow. Huge portion, great flavors – great dish. Even my leftovers a couple days later were excellent. Nice décor. Friendly service. Go here!

I am so sorry to say that this place is a miss use of afghan and afghan deliouse food. I don’t know about previous taste and costumer service of this place, but now this place is not only waste of money but as well as time. Nobody take care how long you can spent time waiting for your order, I order combination kebab of chicken and chapele, after 1 hour come with chicken and tekka, when I asked for my order she toke it back and come with one kebab and saying eat it this much now I well bring the remaining part...... it’s a lot to say but I well never ever visit this place again! Niether I can recommend it!!

Extremely disinterested and discourteous! Food was tasteless and bland! A sheer waste of my money and time! Not recommended at all. Ps. I normally don’t write reviews as I know entrepreneurs take the risk, invest money and create jobs for the local community. I strongly felt that this person was extremely rude hence this review.

Loved this place when it opened few years back. Limited but good Afghan food and good service. Last two visits (to go orders), the food was bad, and the service worse. When the man answered the phone (both times), you wouldn't even know you one had reached a place of business. He simply grunted. I had to confirm I had reached Chaman Kabob House (he seemed irritated that I even asked). The Mantu was fair at best, and the Boorani Banjan was inedible (I kid you not-it looked like snot, not like the eggplant and sauce it was supposed to be). When I called to complain, the person was so rude about bringing the food back for a replacement, that I threw the stuff in the garbage and I will never return. I'd rather drive an hour to get good Afghan food than spend money here.

My daughter took me here for lunch when we were visiting in California. I was delighted with her choice. The food was so flavorful and the place was shiny clean. Sure wish we had this choice at home.

Fabulous food. The naan is terrific. Great Kabuli Pallow. Also great choices for vegetarians. The Boorani Banjan is delightful. All in all, hard to go wrong here. We’ve been here several times since we discovered it.

The food is freshly cooked when cooked that is why you will need to wait a little Longer than usual especially if the place is busy. But I cannot complain since the food and service is good.

This is our go to place when we want to eat tasty kabobs and rice in Brentwood. The service is friendly. The prices are reasonable. Try the Mantu and the Chaple Kabob, they are really good.

I accidentally tried this hole in the wall place after thinking I had opened the door for the popular place next door. The food was oh my god good. I've been here many times since. Food is consistently good. Service always great. I don't know, but I think it must all be family because everyone feels highly invested. Decor is minimal and I've learned to bring a jacket because it's always cold.

We have been coming here since they opened. The best Naan anywhere period. Even beats my favorite place in San Jose. Because it's homemade. The hummus is also wonderful. My wife loves the Chicken kebabs and I love the Lamb kebabs. There rice is also excellent. They often have interesting side dishes that have wonderful flavors. Also they have some very super dessert dishes including, on occasion, pumpkin cheesecake.

This place is in our regular rotation. It's a small, family-owned & -operated restaurant next to CreAsian in the shopping center next to Home Depot. Their kebabs are spectacular. Hubby also likes the korma, and I am addicted to the spinach dip appetizer. DO NOT miss their homemade cheesecake; it's excellent!

Had Sunday lunch with family at Chamon kabob. It have visited many times. They maintain their high standards and the food was even more delicious. Service warm. Being vegetarian , the choice is limited yet it is tasty and as others ate from the varied menu, It is good to go with friends or family

Absolutely love this place. Food is really good. This is a family owned business and they are very friendly and use fresh ingredients. They have an ever changing selection of imported wine and beers. I highly recommend you try this place if in the area.
