How hard is it to mess up breakfast? Another table got my dish so I was sitting there while my husband and daughter ate their breakfasts. No apologies, nothing. We gave them another try (we're locals so want to support local businesses) and it was just as bad. Prices are way too high, service is inexusable, and it's so not... More

Stopped in on my way back from a hike. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was great. Not your run of the mill menu. Great prices and easy to get to with plenty of parking on the street.

We came on a very rainy morning after camping in Big Basin. It was not crowded, and perhaps that helped. But we had very attentive service, great food, better than usual coffee, and a nice homey atmosphere. It was all that we needed and more.

We stopped here for breakfast one Saturday. I had eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. The food was hearty, but the service was very slow and our server seemed occupied with loud personal conversations she was having with other staff. One person in my group ordered pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. I think two lone strawberries gave their lives... More

It appears as a typical local diner but there is much less in the greasy category and more to the healthy. The biscuits & gravy were even relatively low fat compared to other places I've had them. Dropped in twice for breakfast and quite enjoyed both.

We were greeted with friendly smiles and a welcome when we came in on a late weekday morning. My husband had eggs benedict without the muffins and I had their oatmeal with fresh berries (and they were really fresh). They have an extensive breakfast menu which is available until early afternoon - perfect for hikers and surfers. The place also... More

This is a basic diner that appears to have a bit of a customer service problem. The food is ok and it's a nice enough place but what kind of establishment tells a customer that the salad they've just had put in front if them is "what you ordered" when the customer tells them (politely) that they had asked for... Quaint Little Diner! Fits in with the 'old time' ambiance of Boulder Creek. The service could use some help. The waitress we had was delightful but was responsible for too many tables and could not adequately do her job. Who ever owns the place would benefit from hiring more help. The food was so, so. Again with proper staffing and... More

The folks that bought it aren't very good at managing it - from the wait staff, to the organization and food. Our food came separately, cold, and the coffee was tepid.

New owners have a lot to learn about service. It's too bad since a restaurant like this is really needed in Boulder Creek. My recommendation would be for the new owners to spend more time training the servers. The servers are young and seem to be trying but they do not know anything about food service. we walked in we...
