Loved the fruity sangria, bowl of seafood broth (chock full of seafood!), and the $5 and $6 appetizers. The waiter gave me several ideas for enjoying oysters on the half shell. My faves: a squeeze of limon, tabasco, and horseradish. They were so fresh and...lovely!More
Excellent Ensenada style tacos. The Shrimp Diabla was intense. Don’t forget the shrimp cocktail either!
We had a wonderful lunch here and had a great waiter named JOSE!! The whole redfish and rock shrimp are off the charts. But seriously- just order the whole redfish💥💥💥
The smoked tuna taco is so amazing!! The shrimp ceviche tostada is also to die for. You also need to wash that down with a Tamarind Michalada!! This is my go to taco spot in San Diego.
Lots of options and good service along with great food make this T.J’s a worthwhile lunch spot. We’ll be back soon.
I have had dreams of the food here, great seafood great staff I have been here at least 50+ times and have never been disappointed. If you love seafood you have to come here, you will then have dreams as I do 😎
Casual restaurant with a bar. Good size menu and lots of seafood options. Happy hour oysters only $1.50!
TJ Oster is the place to go if you want to experiment the taste of Baja California cuisine. The ceviches are delicious and the variarity of seafood tacos is amazing!
We always take mom to eat fish tacos here since they are so delicious, she really enjoys the food she is a 94 years young lady and she knows good food.
My favorite is tuna fries. My husband loves the aguachile and the ceviches. The 7 seas soup is also very tasty. Wish they had better wine selections but not a biggie as a beer is always good with this food.
It’s a small place that’s pretty busy, but definitely good tacos. I had a fish, shrimp diabla, octopus, and seafood. The fish was underwhelming, but at least it was cheap. The other three were very good. Three tacos would have been plenty, four is a...bit much for one person.More
These are the best fish tacos: lightly breaded, great sauce, good garnish, still $1.29. This is where we go if the family is hungry and it is off-hours. Even though they are worth the wait, the lines can be long and the space crowded.
I've tried this place several times and I've never been overwhelmed by it. The menu is OK, the service can be very slow and the ambience is loud and industrial.
Tiny hole in the wall with amazing food. The smoked tuna and octopus tacos were fantastic! Also had oyster, stingray, and garlic shrimp. Seafood is fresh, everything has a ton of flavor without being spicy.
