Love this place. The best fish and chips, tacos and bbq oysters with Asian sauce. It is slow especially when the really nice man is working the window he gets distracted and holds up the line managing the staff. Also they need an awning on...the path on a hot day, more ice and to switch up the ordering window for the food pickup window for efficiency. But the food is worth the hassle.More

We had to give it a try while traveling through the area. Order at a Window and you are called when its ready. Large patio overlooking the bay. Fish and chips and fish tacos were very good. Had local beer. I would recommend and would...like to go again.More

The Birds Cafe is very attractive, with a pleasant patio and nice folks running it. We've noticed it on several visits to Bodega Bay, and finally stopped in. The clam chowder is pretty good, but the fried shrimp was barely edible. We want you to...succeed, so please listen up! Lighten up the batter! Way too much batter and grease. Should taste like seafood, not breading. Chips are OK, but could be a lot better.More

Simply amazing in all they do. Try everything. They make incredible fish and chips, fish tacos, chicken strips, corn dogs, oysters - adding in fries, onion rings AND artichoke fritters! They serve up fresh food and have a great patio with umbrella tables that give...you an awesome view of the bay! Service is exemplary and the owners show professionalism and pride in what they do! Enjoy!More

What has been second choice after spuds is now a definite first. Lucked out with a table overlooking the bay and enjoyed the local ipa with the chef-recommendation. Superb fish with batter and chips fried to perfection, not soggy, perfectly crispy.

This was the second visit the Birds Cafe. Besides the great name, they make and serve wonderful food. The clam chowder is one the the best I have ever had. Big chunks of clams. It is just thick and delicious. The other dish we found,...the artichoke tacos! Oh my! So good. They have a beautiful deck to enjoy your food once we can do so again. Please visit The Birds Cafe.More

Great place to grab fresh oysters, chowder and a beer. Friendly staff and excellent food. The oysters are about the best I have ever enjoyed.

We stopped at The Birds Café while on our California road trip. Admittedly, we were attracted by the Hitchcock theme, but the artichoke tacos were crispy and zested up by slaw and a green salsa. The fish was legit: fresh, lightly battered and deep fried...to perfection. Local brews made for a great pairing, as did the friendly welcome and the outdoor patio with the view of Bodega Bay.More

Great everything. Service, food, value, view. We had prawns, fish, and artichoke combo. Nice vibe. Very impressed.

Awesome stop for hog island oysters, garlic and herb is the best! Fries artichokes better than the ones along the way down Monterrey! And that’s saying a lot. And one of the best clam chowders around. And yes, good beer options too. Picnic seating tables...outside with beautiful views. Came here on a warm non windy day, paradise! Awesome, friendly, accommodating staff.More

Just drive up, order, and pick up your order when they say to pick it up. No problem, very easy.
