This wasn’t like any bbq place I’ve ever been. It doesn’t even smell like bbq in there which should have been a red flag to not eat there. The onion rings were amazing. They’re beer battered and have bbq seasoning but the good stops there....The Mac and cheese was mushy. I got the Piglet which is supposed to be pulled pork with cole slaw on top but they mixed the pork and slaw together which was off putting . The pork was the consistency of canned chicken and had zero flavor or smoke to it. I think they cook it in a crockpot if I’m being honest. My husband got the Good As Hell Burger and it was not in fact good as hell. It was more like a torta from a Mexican restaurant than a bbq burger. They cut the patty in half and topped it with grilled jalapeños and onions and some of the crock pot canned chicken slop they call pulled pork. It had no flavor, just lots of heat and was another mushy pile to pick through. I would absolutely not recommend this place and won’t ever be back.More

Absolutely wonderfully mouthwatering deliciousness ! But, WOW…wait for it…. $45 for ONE rack o’ribs, and two itzy bitzy sides of slaw. YIKES! And as an extra bonus, cash only…and of course, there was a cash machine 2 feet from register that charged me ANOTHER $3.50!!!...Crazy, huh? 🤪 The question remains, will we return? It will definitely be a battle between the stomach & the wallet! 😉More

Upon entering this establishment I immediately noticed that it was very clean. The worker took our order quickly and food to table time was about 4 minutes. We ordered the Meat platter feast and a Caesar salad on the side. When the food came, it...was a very small portion of Brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken and a single tiny rib. For the side we opted for the mac and cheese and the red potato salad. This almost $20 dollar "PLATTER" in fact comes on a very normal sized black plastic picnic plate with meager portions of each meat. When I say meager I mean that the actual meat took up only 3/4 of the plate with the side in a cup taking up the rest of the little plate. Each meat portion was only about 1/4 inch in depth. All of the meat was pretty good and flavorful but portion size is VERY misleading for one who envisions a "FEAST" on the menu. It is far from a feast. It is a normal sized plate and is a joke, and I was not happy. If you're a 200 pound man you want to eat to get full. A man would need to eat two plates at least to get full with what would equate to a normal sized lunch portion from anywhere else. The potato salad and mac and cheese where in little black plastic cups seemingly made for toddlers, and consisted of about an ice cream scoop and a half, sized portion, though they too tasted delicious. The hoagie/ torta bun came lightly buttered and toasted but it too was small, and came wrapped with a large piece of tin foil. I made a single sandwich and was not happy. We ate the little meal quickly as there wasn't much there anyway and waited for our salad.....and waited....and waited until finally we spoke up and took it to go. The salad came in clear plastic container and came with iceberg lettuce, 1 inch by 1 inch croutons, parmesan cheese and dressing. The salad was big enough to feed a couple of people easily with more left over. The lettuce was not extremely fresh but was acceptable for fast food. The worker gave us a quality plastic cup for a drink and it was spotless. The napkins where also quality made. The cutlery was to go cutlery in small clear plastic bags and sterile. The workers attention to detail was lacking entirely though. We literally ordered two things off the menu, there was not a long line only a couple of customers during our time there, which consisted all of about 15 minutes and yet still they forgot our salad. The workers take orders and then go back to socializing with each other and the cooks. The workers where nice and courteous however. As for the cooks, the food was okay/good but they too failed to follow a simple order of an obvious vaguely and falsely advertised "MEAT PLATTER FEAST' with a salad on the side. I recommend updating your menu to reflect that which most other restaurants use to describe an" individual plate meal" instead of a meat platter feast. It is no feast it is a simple individual plate meal with a small and sad excuse for a hoagie/torta bun. Had I known the size of the portions I would have ordered 3 plates instead of 1. We shared the small scraps of delectably prepared overindulgence with much disdain, and regret for buying it, due to the fact that we expected a large MEAT PLATTER FEAST and yet that was not what we received. I felt like a starving hostage, lamenting having eaten the meager meal and walked out still hungry, with my extreme late salad in arm. I have never had my expectations let down so low, so quickly in all of my years of dining in at BBQ restaurants across the USA. Perhaps the meat platter was tiny due to shortages, or maybe it was due to apathy but whatever the reason, be advised that the food is good but not great, the workers do not pay attention to details of the order, the customer doesn't matter and the food is grossly overpriced. As for Rebel BBQ restaurant owners, update your menu to reflect what is actually served. Also, there is a buildup of finger scum on the water tab of the soda machine. I was not impressed, only letdown in my dreams of finding a great BBQ place in this dusty desert town with little choice in the way of good dining and eatery...More

Looking for some good takeout food? Look no further than this place. Rolled into Blythe looking for some quick tasty eats and found this place. Great ribs and sides. Reasonably priced we enjoyed our food at a table outside on a pleasant February evening in...Blythe. Yes! I did say pleasant evening. Not too many of those in the hot desert. Good food at a good price. Pleasantly surprised to find this one.More

If you live in the West and don't like BBQ, you are missing out. This spot had excellent food, was fast to deliver and had dining inside and out - and you can smell the wonderful aroma from the smokers. Price was good, too. Spouse...said the food was just good, not super. I disagree.More

I had BBQ brisket sandwich, and it’s ok. It was so dried, and I would’ve liked it if it’s a bit more juicy.

Not much in Blythe, but if you need to feed, this is great Barbecue. Tri tip sandwich and pulled pork were huge and the sauce not too sweet or overly smokey. Delicious house made chips and onion rings.

Rebel BBQ on Lovekin Street is advertised as a BBQ venue. However my pulled pork sandwich was bland with a container of BBQ sauce on the side. The sauce lacked flavor and did not taste like it was made in house. On the good side...customers could eat indoors and the staff members were cheerful and seemed to enjoy their employment. Cannot recommend for actual BBQ.More

For a small establishment, the BBQ is pretty good. We ordered the chicken sandwich on a bunch, pork sandwich on a bun, brisket sandwich on a bunch, a side of Mac n cheese and a side of steak fries. They give you the sauce on...the side which is nice. The order of steak fries is more than enough for 2 people. The BBQ sauce is sweet with a small kick, nothing too strong. We ordered to go and though it was packed, we waited less than 15 min. Overall, good food, good experience.More

I must say having seen the reviews, I was disappointed. I had "the Cuban" sandwich and it was OK to good. The meat was well cooked and the pickle was OK. There was no cheese. No BBQ sauce was on the sandwich. You have to...get a sauce container and add sauce. The french fries were good. For Blythe or any small town this was a good BBQ place, but not a rave. I would eat here again if passing through though.More

Young lady took our order and apparently missed my choice. They cheerfully comped my pork sandwich when they realized it. My companion had the chicken q sandwich and the jalapeno potato salad and both were excellent. My pulled pork was very tasty with some hot...sauce. We would return here if back in town.More

Can't state the rules in California, but there were no signs prohibiting dogs and there was one on the patio when we were there. Hope this helps!
