We never miss Schat's Bakery when in Bishop or traveling to Mammoth. Everything is awesome! Expect lines to make your purchase but well worth the wait!

The bakery is amazing. So many choices for breads and sweet baked goods. I bought an original sliced shepard's loaf and an original "cheeze" bread loaf. All natural ingredients, and only $6 each. Best bread I have ever tasted. Wish they were local to where I live.

Waited in line for quite a while for a sandwich at 2 pm. Sandwich was very good, on sour dough bread. (I bought a loaf to take home!). Everything was fresh. Don't go here if you're in a hurry.

A wide selection of bread, sandwiches and pastries and jam. This is a busy must stop type of place for the long ride on 395.

We always bring home Chili Cheese bread, Bananna Walnut Bread and Shortbread cookies to name a few of our favorites. We have never had a sandwich or sat down to eat,... More

Great variety of tasty sandwiches. Finish the meal with one of their wonderful pastries. You can't leave without something to eat on the road!
