Fresh baked goods, a wide variety of breads, cookies, donuts, desserts and even candy. Grab a sandwich and soup for your travels or a treat and a cup of coffee. Take a loaf of their famous Shepards bread or cinnamon pull-a-part to share later on.

Definatly a tourist trap. Great sandwich bat and hot turkey soup. Pricey and crowded. You will not see the locals here.

On our way to Mammoth we always stop at Schats Bakery! Tradition! They have spectacular fresh sandwiches, great soup and WONDERFUL breads and backers items with a tremendous selection. It's always busy but worth the wait to grab a soup and sandwich and snacks on your way up to Mammoth for skiing or snowboarding! You WON'T be disappointed!

Erick Schat's Bakkery is very well known as a bakery. If you're looking for fresh daily baked goods this is the place to go. It's also the place to go for great fresh made sandwiches. Or if you just want to pick up some baked desserts for later.

Great sandwich, easy to split if your not starving. Best part is all the fresh bread and other baked goods. Perfect stop for lunch!

Stopped for Schat's Bakery to pick up Cinnamon Pull-Aparts, so good, and a great Chai Tea Frappacino.

A big claim and it doesn't quite reach it however it does have nice breads and cakes and a range of other delights. It is a tourist and local place to stop.
