New ownership but food still great! Try the chicken, avacado sandwich! or the beef sandwich. I saw an ice cream dessert that looked delicious. Couldn't eat any more but will try it next time.

We really enjoyed the great rustic cuisine and the attentive service. The portions were huge, so it is asvisable to share the starter.

WOW! If you are looking for a great place to have dinner, this is it. The atmospherer is relaxed and the food and service are the best in Bishop that we've experienced. Their steaks are some of the best.

Just a very strange layout. Ate dinner here and felt like I was eating on stage. What's with the bright lights aimed at the tables? Made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. The food was so so. Went over to the bar for dessert because we couldnt stomach another second under these bright lights. Our foreheads were aglow! Creme brûlée... More

Had a great lunch and a few drinks here. Service was good, food was great, portions huge though, so if you are not used to American portion size just order a starter or maybe split a main. Really nice place .

Whenever we would go up the 395 to the Eastern Sierra, we'd stop here. In fact we serendipitously managed to converge here with my sister and niece when they traveled across the country to get to June Lake and Yosemite. My sister noticed how wonderful the tap water is here (and it is). The waiter even gave us to go... More

Second time I've eaten here since they reopened this year. The staff are super nice. Service is very quick (it was a quiet weeknight), in fact the entree came before I'd finished my salad. Entrees come with soup or salad. Soup specials change each day. Salad was a nice variety and perfect, not too tiny size. I had the duck... More

When the old management failed, now too long ago, Bishop and the surrounding area was left without a first class restaurant with quality food, service, and environment, A multiplication of chains, Mexican restaurants, and a new, burger-oriented roadhouse only had made this missing ingredient more painfully apparent. It hurt everyone, residents and visitors and the local economy. The new Whiskey... More

We had eaten there many times in the past and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. It has recently re-opened, we had 2 meals there, and really liked everything. I think it is the best place to eat in Bishop.

This restaurant recently reopened with new owners after being closed for some time. The decor has been refreshed and the menu is new. I had an excellent cut of prime rib and my husband had the rib eye. Both were served hot and cooked to order. The staff was friendly. This is a good choice for Bishop.
