We finally made it in to check out the new Whiskey Creek. I wish their website could post a menu but it didn't. We ate in the bar because the dining area felt like a coffee shop last time I was in there and the bar had a more intimate atmosphere - except that it was pretty chilly in there.... More

The Whiskey Creek is our favorite Bishop eatery. The menu has a lot to choose from and the atmosphere is nice as well. You won't be disappointed!

We were drawn in by the high-end ambiance. But expectations quickly went downhill when the hostess became baffled over where to seat us in this rather empty restaurant. The wait staff was unorganized, inexperienced, and poorly trained (how many times do we have to ask for that lemonade?). Ordered filets mignons, but the cooks ruined them by pouring on some kind... I had dinner and a couple of drinks here, and had a good time! I had Cadillac margaritas, and ordered a cheeseburger with cole slaw on the side. The buns were from Schatt's bakery, whom I was told own the restaurant. The prices were reasonable, and the place had a cool vibe to it. It was my first visit here,... More

We dined here with 3 people and the service was below average. I could go into a long list of service faults but let me say that I travel about 175 days a year and I know how a wait person should act. The food was average at best.

We spent the thanksgiving dinner there, it was really good, comfortable food: plenty of smashed potatoes and gravy, greens, cranberry and orange jam, spicy pumpkin stuffing and very good meat. We choose the piece of local grass feed beef, very well cooked (not overcooked) and the proposed a very interesting wine menu. A local jazz performer was there, we really... More

Went to the Whiskey Creek after arriving in town. It was a short walk from the La Quinta Inn. Sat outside on a brisk fall evening as there was no wait for a table on their beautiful patio. The employees were kind enough to turn on heaters. Their shrimp bloody Mary's are a must for anyone who loves a good... More

The food tasted fine the Alfredo was a little thin and bland. The pumpkin pie worst crust I have ever eaten. I ate here several years ago when it had different owners was better than current owners cuisine. Several items on menu not available. Not terrible not memorable.

Good atmosphere. Nice staff. I ordered an heirloom tomato salad and a sandwich. Server came back and said they did not have that. So I got the bacon wrapped shrimp instead. Good. The sandwich was a tri tip barbecue and was good. I ordered a house made pumpkin pie slice (two days before Thanksgiving) and the crust was inedible- tough... More

My mom and I were saddened to hear of Whiskey Creek's closure in 2014 as it was to us Bishop's only restaurant/bar with a nice ambience. The good news is it has re-emerged with an improved menu that I would call California casual. Service and food good; nice beer and wine selection. The bar area is little changed and great... More
