Terrific coffee and very good burritos, scones and quiche. Small but big enough. Just the place to get started in Bishop!

Great coffee, espresso drinks, and light and fresh food options in a comfortable environment. Inside and outside seating, great employees, excellent music, ample parking, fantastic location.

Ordered a mocha and if I were in the Bay Area, it probably would be a 4.0/10. I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese. It tasted like a bagel you would buy in a 6 pack at safeway and the cream cheese was from a small packaged individual sized serving (not fresh). My wife ordered the vegetable focaccia and... More

Friendly service (not sure about the guy who gave up, I go there every time I'm in town and I've NEVER had a bad experience) and the BEST coffee you will taste not only in the Inyo County area or Eastern Sierras... but truly great coffee no matter WHERE you're from. I live in the city, I've been to Europe,... More

Probably lots of other reasons to like this place, but all I went for was great espresso pulled from freshly roasted coffee beans, and that's what I got. Solid place.

Good coffee, terrible service. After 11 years, I’ve given up on Black Sheep because of the poor service. It’s been a comedy of Dumb and Dumber, or maybe Stoned and More Stoned. Here are some examples. When ordering a pound of beans, I’d ask for #3 grind. Not one time did they do it right. The first time I only... More

After a week of disappointing americanos, it was nice to find a coffee shop with a decent roast and a proper pull. Prices are extremely fair and the snacks were tasty.

This place was like a home away from home when it came to coffee. Great staff, and a great group of patrons as well. Try their pastries, too.

This is an esoteric, cool & friendly cafe. Black Sheep roasts its own beans and the baristas treat it like an art form. It's an open, airy & simple coffee house with free wi-fi. They do a great job making some glorious smoothies and serving good value, basic lunches. So if you're passing through Bishop on Highway 395, enroute to... More

Unique coffee beans, blends and drinks that you won't find at Starbucks. Very casual and cozy place with a quiet patio out back. Very friendly service. Definitely worth a stop for coffee and tea lovers.
