Excellent authentic clean and friendly...the real deal!!! Awesome ownership and management, friendly welcoming staff.
We stopped randomly on route to Yosemite, a Brit and a swede. Best burrito I have ever had! Amazing food, everything was so tasty and cooked to perfection. The staff were really welcoming and friendly! Wish we were her for another night to sample more...of the menu!More
Really wanted some good Mexican food. I ordered a tamale and enchilada combo with rice and beans. It was ok. I asked for no sauce on the tamale but it was smothered with sauce. The chips were nice and warm. The salsa was ok, nothing...special. Service was slow, unless you are a regular. There are many other Mexican restaurants in the area. I think I’ll try those before I make my way back here.More
Stopped by for dinner, I like hole in the wall places. Food was great and delivered fast. On the spot when I needed a refill.
Thought the reviews were good, but must admit I found it pretty average. Was it bad no, was it good, not really. I was expecting authentic Mexican, if that’s authentic then I feel sorry for people in Mexico.
There are about 5 or 6 different Mexican restaurants in town. Had not eaten here before and it's not bad. It's the location of the old Bishop Grill and funny that it's right next door to another Mexican joint, Amigos. The interior is mostly leftover...from old Bishop Grill but it's good food for a decent price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overheard another diner asking for a special order and the waitress was very accomodating and it was not a problem. It's your basic "hole in the wall", nothing fancy but highly recommended.More
Expect Mexican food that you perhaps have not seen or eaten before. Even if you order something you normally eat, it will not be quite the same. This is the REAL DEAL. There service was excellent, the food was very good, but the building/business is...not quite what most visitors would expect.More
This place is right next to Amigos. Kind of weird. We didn't know which place to try. Then I saw a sign on Amigo's door that said, "Full time cook wanted". I told my wife, let's try the one that has a cook. Lol. We...are so glad we did. The food was delicious. Shredded beef tacos were mouth watering. Chips and salsa were too. We will come back when visiting again.More
Good quality, reasonably priced, and very authentic Mexican food. Atmosphere is down-to-earth, basic. Tacos are street-type, with a selection of traditional meats. A good variety of house-made salsas are available, and they are happy to bring them all to you so you can try them....Delicious and highly recommended.More
