Great food and service. We had their half sandwich with soup & salad. The cream of spinach soup was delicious! The salad and sandwich very tasty as well. Highly recommend. The waitress was friendly and fun too.

Catering was for 17 of us and we were extremely happy with the service from beginning to end (meaning the clean up). The food was delicious and we had a lovely variety. The garlic shrimp were the best I've had---A Must Try. Definitely recommend. If you don't want the catering, you can always go to the restaurant.

Sweet Basil is cute. No doubt. Tiny..maybe twelve tables. If you are a couple, you get a tiny table, so don't order a lot of food! There was nowhere to put it...made it a bit uncomfortable and crowded. Staff is super friendly, food was good. A family place most definitely....and a local place....tons of small children. Happy and angry ones.... More

Get the lobster lasagna it was great. The chicken Parma was just OK. The food was rich (read lots of butter) so if you have issues then be careful. All in all great food and service.

The food was very good and the service was good. However, they changed the amount that I put down for tip and added a dollar to the amount. Didn't think that was proper!

Visiting Big Bear Lake and read an article that said this intimate restaurant is frequented by locals. So we decided to give it a try. The staff of father and daughter were very busy waiting tables, greeting guests, and making the drinks. They were as attentive and helpful as you could expect with the number of guests they had. The... More

My family and I spent the afternoon in Big Bear on June 11th. I made advanced reservations because the website recommended it. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Diane. The food was awesome, well priced and homemade! The garlic fritters were excellent!! We had a wonderful time and we just loved Diane!! I highly recommend... More

Sweet Basil is a quant restaurant ajacent to Alley Oops Bowling Alley. The food is all made from scratch and it is mmm...delicious! The staff is very friendly and the wines that they offer are nice as well. It is a small restaurant, so please remember to make a reservation ahead of time during the busy Holiday weekends. I would... More

The Bistro is a small off the road restaurant, But have to say without a doubt one of the best meals I've had in all of Big Bear Lake! Service was outstanding. Prices are fair for fine Italian dining. I ordered the special of the day, the short rib ravioli with a parmesan cream sauce,, melted in my mouth and... More
