We went for breakfast with the family on a Sunday morning. The menu has a wide range of plates to choose from. My son got the chocolate chip bear pancake from the kids menu - it was massive! It was easy to find off the main road and the service was good. Would definitely come here again!

Ok, do not pass on going here if you are in Big Bear!! The mashed potatoes with gravy are so good I had them 3 times while I was there- one of the only places that still makes the mash and gravy from scratch! no box crap there! The french dip was DELICIOUS and the Reuben.... WOW! It doesn't look... More

After a morning of fishing, decided we were hungry and stopped for breakfast at the Log Cabin since we had eaten here on a previous visit. The lone waitress was great, very friendly and efficient, but she had her hands full waiting on all tables. The food is ok, prices a little high for the what you get. The menu... More

This classic restaurant has a wonderful menu of good old fashioned comfort food. My favorite time to eat here is for breakfast. The Irish Slinger is my go-to. Service is friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you get enough to eat!

We went here last weekend while in Big Bear. We initially tried to go here for dinner but when we walked in and sat down, the restaurant was very uncomfortably hot inside. We decided to leave only because of this. The next morning we have it another go for breakfast and glad we did! The food was delicious, the staff... More

The portions are huge! I suggest you split a meal. Waitresses were friendly and apparently a lot of celebrities have visited this place. Went the previous night but left because the A/C was busted. Morning was nice. They have a small bar area. They have tube tvs in the place and is a little dated, but I would recommend a... More

Last day of our Big Bear trip and we tried a place close to our cabin. The Log Cabin restaurant, it's on Big Bear Blvd, on the west end of Big Bear. Anyway, walked in and was pleasantly surprised, I spent a couple of years in Germany for Uncle Sam and this place has the feel of a German gasthof... More

Like the title says. I had a chicken sandwich that was mediocre at best with a warm salad. Gross, who eats a warm salad? Anyway stear clear if at all possible.

Popped in here with my staff for breakfast this A.M. What a treat! Friendly greeting by the waitress, loved the decor, very cabin like and cozy. They have a German breakfast, I had it and can recommend it, potato pancakes and three kinds of sausage. One of my party was complementary about the biscuits and gravy. Love this casual place,...
