We were looking for a sushi place and ran across Fuji in Big Bear. We live in Arrowbear Lake. The owner and family are very nice This is a Japanese Cusine and worth the stop! They have happy hour which was a big savings We ordered several types of sushi and the Las Vegas wrap and our bill was only... More

I was craving a sushi fix and this place had better reviews than Pong's so we came here. Service was a little slow even though it wasn't busy at all. Our sushi was good but our waitress could've explained that shochu would be better mixed with something else. They had run out of the lemonade shocu so she asked if... More

I am a local here in Big Bear and I truly wish we had a decent Sushi place here! They are dirty, always running out of fish or forget to make rice??? Really? Kitchen is dirty and the owners all work in the kitchen and front of house. They are always fighting and yelling at each other. Bad Experience!

Service was fair. Sushi was sub par. I have gotten better sushi at a supermarket deli. Prices were pretty high, we wen there for 1/2 price sushi on happy hour. Only three rolls were 1/2 off. We got sick after eating there, nausea/vomiting/diarrhea. cant be for sure it was from there but odss are....

The service is VERY slow and not too friendly. The sushi wasn't very good and the restaurant is somewhat run down. The cheap plastic menus were sticky and dirty, the walls need painting and it is just nothing great.

We went for the teppan. The lowest price price was $18 for tofu and veggies it was very flavorful. The rest of the teppan menu was above $23 for one meat or seafood and over $27 for two meats for one person. The meals for all but the tofu one had shrimp appetizer while all had had soup, salad, veggie... More

Only issue is service. It is awful. But they are really japanese people serving awesome food. So plan to be patient and join the teppan grill or sit at a table or the tiny sushi bar, relax and enjoy. Emphasis on RELAX. If you are in a hurry, forget it. Prices are good too.

For years, Fuji Sushi was right around the corner from me in the San Fernando Valley. When it moved two hours away to Big Bear, I thought I'd never taste that beautifully presented sashimi, perfectly rolled sushi, or comforting miso soup again. But on a recent trip to Big Bear, I had my birthday dinner there and was delighted to... More

The food was average to above average. I mean I wouldn't go to a skiing mountain for Japanese food necessarily, but it was good. The language barrier was marginal, but I wouldn't say I would never go back to this restaurant.

We went on a Saturday night and it took 1 hour for us to get our food If it wasnt for the NFL playoff on TV there we would have walked out. We have ate here many times before and never had this bad of service. The food was great after we got it. And when we got our food... More
