Not fancy, not even close to trendy. Some other reviewers would complain it looks dated / tired. Ok, clearly decor is not the priority, but it is clean. Seems like a hungry locals sort of place. Here I've found consistently good food for a reasonable price over decades. I started coming with my folks in the sixties, now I bring... More

I've had breakfast here several times, it's really good. It is a diner, coffee shop, no frills restaurant.. The service was great, had the Mexican breakfast , and was surprised at how great the flavors were. We have eaten at many restaurants here in big bear, many that I would not recommend, this one got a big thumbs up!

Breakfast is my favorite so I decided to give this place a try. Driven by many times and this time I should have done the same. The food was bland, no flavor even the hash browns. I ate a few bites of the hash browns and a few bites of omelet and that was it. I have to admit the... More

Boy, this is unusual for me...this place is delicious! Okay, I will admit this is our first time. The staff is friendly and service quick. My machaca and eggs was one of the best I've had. It is served mild with a little spicy salsa, not too spicy. For those of you who love the kick, they have hot sauces... More

Homey Old-Time Coffee Shop! You can't go wrong here! A local favorite! Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Daily specials! I absolutely love their Mexican food! Extra green verde sauce please! The service is great, attentive & friendly!!! So popular it can get very busy on weekends!

Stopped on way out of town for breakfast. Great menu with a lot of Mexican choices. Had the special eggs benedict and did not disappoint. The service is great and friendly. Seems to be a favorite with the locals, but would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Would like to stop back on a future trip for lunch or dinner.

Food was just okay. Large selection of typical American breakfast fare. Home fries were good. In definite need of a facelift and maybe just some general maintenance on the outside to repair chipped peeling paint and old dingy plastic chairs. A dedicated hostess would be nice and waitresses who knew their table assignments.

The service as good. I like the Mexican choices for breakfast. I had the minced ham scramble with beans instead of potatoes. It was good.
