Big Bear Brewery in the Village is a great location. Service was great but beers lacked flavor. Most of the beers tasted the same. We're pretty "knowledgable" on craft beer and these lacked big time. Great location to start your Village walking.

This is a old building but it is nice inside . They also have picnic tables outside on the patio facing the road . Ok now for the not so ok stuff . I know different places have went to this but you have to...scan the menu on your phone . Then you order and pay on your phone . Then they bring out your drinks and food . The system automatically adds mandatory 18% service fee / tip . If you want water to drink they have a self serve water station . Those are both posted on a sign on wall . If you don’t like any of that then best not to come here . BUT the food and drinks came out fast and were very good . The waitress was working alone and on the run the whole time as the place was about half full . She was very nice even when she had to help us with ordering . Even with what we didn’t like about the experience we would return because they tried so hard to please us . We tried to go to Big Bear Lake Brewery before this but left . We were ignored when only ones waiting for table . Eventually lady rudely told us she would get to us “ in awhile “ with no apology for us already standing there for 5 minutes.More

As others have mentioned they do not brew their own beer? How can you get away with calling yourself a brewery?? I could live with this, but rude and terrible service is absolutely unacceptable. Servers were so rude… I will not be coming back and...would not recommend this place to others. Super dark and gloomy inside and directly on the highway outside. Many other great places in or near the village.More

Not a true brewery because they don't brew their own beer but the food was good. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and sat out on the front porch. The music was too loud to hold a conversation but they lowered it for us. The...food was good, portions fairly large. It started pouring when we were there so we stayed longer than we probably would have.More

Nice little brewery. Great beer great food. Dog friendly inside and out. They have the best beer in town. Better in my opinion than the other brewery in the village. The service is good and friendly and it is a good vibe inside. We had...two growler fills of the hazy ipa, which was our favorite. The chicken wings with their homemade spicy aoli was the best.More

Stopped here after a doing the Pine Knot trail to Grandview Peak. The beer was spot on - had a flight and all were outstanding. Pulled pork sandwich and partner had the chicken tenders. Hot, tasty and really hit the spot after a long hike....Best part was establishment gives a 20% discount to veterans!!! Porch faced the sun and it was bright, but felt great. Would definitely recommend a stop here for beer and food!!!More

The beer was far superior to the other brewery in Big Bear but their food menu was extremely limited. Although we were there at lunchtime, we chose to go somewhere else to eat. Definitely worth stopping in for a pint, though.

The are a beer type bar but definitely not a brewery they don’t make beer. They sell other breweries beers and say they are their beers. They don’t have anyone who works for them that knows how to brew. Don’t fall for their misconceptions no...fresh beer served here. They tap kegs of beer from others. They don’t have Brewing equipment or knowledge of the subject. Go elsewhere for fresh beer.More

So glad that we were referred to this brewery with entertainment in a historical cabin. Lots of fun, great brews, excellent service - what more could we ask for right now? We will definitely make this our first food & beer stop next time we're...in Big Bear.More

Excellent beer and live music! It’s worth the short walk up the hill. Trip Advisor says I need to write more words for the review. Just come here. It’s worth it. I promise.

Got in to Big Bear last night and decided to get dinner at the Brewery since it was right across the street. Most places close by 9pm during the week, but BBMB is open until 11. Under new ownership, and the father/son duo are doing...things right. Both beers I tried were tasty, and the food was delicious. Even my kids ate it up. I had the Cubano sandwich, which I highly recommend. We also got a cheeseburger, chicken tenders, grilled cheese, and a mountain of perfectly cooked fries. We'll be back this weekend, and on all future trips up the mountain.More

Do not confuse this great little brew pub with the similarly named, but very inferior, place in town, in The Village. Very clean place. Pleasant atmosphere, great staff. Quality award-winning Beers have variety and are well crafted. We found the red, the pale ale and...the doubke hazy all very good to exceptional. Quaint 100+ year old bldg right on the 18 hwy. East of town. Some big plans for renovations to restore the old feeling in class.More

Max and his father have just taken over. They’ve revamped the whole place. Right now they’re serving “Ritual” craft brewery beers from Redlands. But, soon they are going to be pouring their own concoctions. Drop by and check it out. There’s live music several nights...a week, and a happy hour. I really want this place to make it!!!! They need your support 😎More
