I love this place and I especially adore the Chicken Shish Kabob. The chicken is always moist and tender and the grilled vegetables are divine. You have a choice of salad but I always go with the Mediterranean salad which is yummy. It is served with a choice of rice too. Just scrumptious and the outside seating is always fun... More

We took a couple to Panini Cafe in Santa Monica recently and found it to be one of the restaurants we will add to our go to places with guests. The food was excellent and the service was pretty good. The portions were really generous. I had the beef kabobs and it came with two skewers of meat and one... More

We love the Mediterranean menu and Panini never disappoints. I am always safe with several of the salad offerings and typically get the grilled salmon. Let the waitperson know that gluten free is necessary for you and the kitchen will take good care. Husband had the lamb kabob and auntie had a beef kabob dish. No one was talking because... More

Given that this is located one block away from Rodeo Drive its a real steal. The Chicken Kebob, with rice and choice of 3 salads was not only delicious but HUGE (and only c$13). Most people around me had to get the rest of their meals boxed up to go as they couldn't finish. Given that I had been cycling... More

We've been a large group of people for late dinner (late in LA terms). Great Mediterranean experience! don't miss out their Kebab, very few make such one in America. Worthwhile trying.

There are not a lot of restaurants on Rodeo Dr. We found Panini Cafe a few blocks away. It was a busy, bustling place and seems very popular. We had great service. We both ordered panini's which came with a side salad. The panini and salad were both enough for two meals. I order the Chicken Pesto and it was... More

Horrible service and average food. There is nothing Mediterranean about this restaurant. Their plates are all rice and lettuce and minimal meats.

Food is delicious and if you're not hungry plate is good for sharing. If around Rodeo Drive it is a good stop for eating.

Panini Cafe is basically that - a regular sandwich shop that grills their processed meat in a panini press. Location is really good and the restaurant is clean, but that's about it...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
