When visiting LA, I decided to find some restaurants owned by Hollywood stars. I came across Tagine, owner being our fellow Canadian Ryan Gosling, there was no doubt I had to make this a must see place! Getting to the place, it was tucked away among some small businesses, to the point we drove by the place a few times... More

Although the outsides of this restaurant does not indicate of the inside, Tagin is a small restaurant (15 tables?) in Beverley Hills, with a big culinary heart. The food prepared in a Tunisian-fusion style was fantastic, Very attractively presented and the taste was even better. Excellent service and food/wine recommendations Highly recommended (even when not in Beverley Hills – it... More

Took my wife for our anniversary. Tiny restaurant, maybe a dozen tables or so. Dark lighting and a very intimate feel. Quality wine list and vey good food, and great pricing especially considering its in Beverly Hills. It took some time for us to get seated as many of the parties seemed to take a long time to finish their... More

My daughter and I ate in Tagine this evening and were really disappointed. The restaurant is small, charming and can seat about 26 people (which is also a problem) We arrived promptly at 7.30 and ordered wine, water and hummus to start. For mains we had Lemon chicken and Honey Lamb tagine. I love Morrocan food and found this food... More

The food here is extraordinary and the setting is unique in that there is only room for 30 people at a seating. We had a family dinner here and everyone loved the food. Go and enjoy

Took the wife for our anniversary dinner and were very happy. The ambiance is quiet with only a few tables and quiet enough to have a conversation. The food was great and was less expensive than many comparable places in Beverly Hills.

Everything we ate here was delicious. We had the two salads on the menu (and a complementary appetizer from the chef) -- all extremely good and with surprising touches (like the lemon sorbet on the cucumber salad). The Berber couscous was the best couscous we ever had. It was really exceptionally tasty. The place is also cozily small and, with... More

We loved our meal at Tagine, and I'm still dreaming of the delicious Sangria! My partner had the lamb with honey sauce, which practically melts in your mouth! I had the chicken with preserved lemons, which was wonderful. We'll definitely visit again the next time we're in LA!

We ate here for our anniversary dinner. The food was divine and the servings were quite large especially the lamb shank in honey. The server was very helpful and presented us with a simple but elegant anniversary dessert on the house. Although quite expensive, we enjoyed this restaurant. Btw Ryan Gosling maybe a part owner but apparently he never comes... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
