Recently visited here for breakfast on our annual trip to LA. We had never been to the hotel and wanted to check out such a historic place. We had breakfast by the pool. Service was good. My wife ordered off of the menu and I had the buffet. Her food was good and the buffet had a lot of great... More

I think the menu is limited. And this is the Only restaurant in the Beverly Hilton. Whether it was Trader Vic's which is intertwined with Circa 55, the Guac appetizer was not made in house and they both must be in love with grease and oil. Do not get the carpaccio appetizer, advertised as cured beef, as it is tougher... More

We sat by the pool and had a great dinner. The waitstaff was very attentive and their timing was perfect. The pizzas were a bit soggy in the middle but they were tasty. We also ordered Cesar Salads, Ravioli, and a tuna melt. We enjoyed the entire experience.

We opted for the Continental Breakfast choice which is the right way to go if you aren't accustomed to a large breakfast....a wide assortment of bagel and pastry choices, a really good oatmeal (sorry, I'm odd and really like hot (non-instant) oatmeal!), fruit, etc. The full buffet breakfast appeared popular and was tempting.

First off, you can't go wrong with the breakfast menu. Either the buffet with many, many options (omelettes made to order, eggs Benedict, waffles, etc.) or ordering from the menu neither will disappoint. The staff is first rate and if you can request Alfredo as he is the best server we have had and he is one of the main... More

Finally, an updated version of a 1950s-style restaurant that is subtle and beautiful! The decor and ambiance are straight from the fifties, but in a low-key, updated way. The restaurant is spacious and one may dine indoors or by the pool. Either way, it is a glorious experience, a trip down memory lane. The food is very good, not great,... More

We enjoyed one of the best breakfast buffets at the CIRCA 55 Restaurant in the Beverly Hilton. Service was also outstanding. If you are a guest at this hotel, do indulge. The buffet includes the usual breakfast offerings but also offers items such a Dulce de Leche cookies and cinnamon cruffins. Highly recommend!

Circa 55 is a nice-looking space, but its food is not good at all. The menu has no interesting items, and the quality and presentation of the dishes is very poor. Somehow they even mess up the bread service, serving a completely mushy round loaf of bread in a pot. There's no crisp. The portions are small. It's just all... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
