Go there and ask for tastes. They have an unbelievable selection. It changes throughout the year based on the weather at the time of the milking. They are warm and friendly.

When my kids were little this was the "stinky" store. I already liked cheese so I took my kids on a cheese hunt. The wonderful staff of the Cheese Store introduced them to fig jam, sharp cheddar, goat and sheep cheese. The staff is amazing and patient. We love the Cheese Store.

We visited this store as obvious tourists but we were treated like we were regular patrons. The young lady who served us made us feel immediately welcome and allowed us to sample the cheeses. She made it a fun experience. One of the cheeses we sampled was infused with truffles from France. The taste was beyond imagination. We ended up... More

Someone wrote "...The Cheese Shop is a slice of heaven...." True. However, I took three friends (one from a wine maker family) yesterday to their cheese & wine tasting ($65pp) and thought I could not believe my eyes when they startet to pour the red wine into the glasses they had served the white in before. Uncleaned. 2 glasses for... More

This is the place I visit when I want to indulge and enjoy impossible-to-find-in-the-US cheese from all over Europe. People working here are knowledgeable and very friendly. Their caviar is also pretty good; take your time, go and see for yourself.

This is an extraordinary shop, unique for Southern California. The best selection of cheeses, condiments and other goodies, in a charming atmosphere. We always send gift baskets from The Cheese Store at Christmas. The staff is knowledgeable and they care. You will return frequently if you live here, otherwise, it's worth a visit. The wine selection is also top notch.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
