The place is tiny and feels crowded, but the food is amazing and the service very professional, take their advice and you will have an unforgettable dinner. But bring a couple of credit cards.

One of LA's finer sushi restaurants, and worth every dollar spent. I had high expectations entering this establishment and I was duly rewarded by the service and excellent food. I had the Combination dinner (of various delicious selections of choice) and highly recommended it if you want a rounded sampling. And, if you know exactly what you want, it's all... More

Had Dinner here with a friend and we decide to do their 10 or 12 course tasting! which was just perfect! a great introduction to many of their dishes cooked and prepared in different forms and styles! starting from cold and light and slowing moving into the heavier and hot dishes. The services is great the location is small but... More

We got here with high expectations being the original restaurant by Mr Nobu Matsuhisa - and we were not disappointed. The staff were polite and very helpful in helping us choose what to order. The Rock Shrimps and the Black Cod are must haves! One of the best restaurants in LA for us!

We went to matsuhisa with high hopes as I've dined in a few of nobu's other places and loved his creativity. First, the place is rather small and very uncomfortable to dine in. It's extremely noisy and you can't hear a thing when talking on the table. The service is highly unprofessional and the wait stuff aren't synchronized among themselves.... More

I'll start by saying that we had some very delicious dishes here. The quality of the fish was terrific and the accompanying sauces / flavorings were frequently spot on. That said, as a high-priced restaurant it falls far short of fine dining. The ambiance is pretty non-existent. We were seated in a quiet side area that was completely separate from... More

Came to Matsushita for dinner after flight in from Seattle. They were very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we had to call and move the reservation. The chef's choice dinner was a broad variety of dishes that ranged from great to outstanding. Service was attentive. Valet parking is a big plus

Ask for it... Only in this place you can have one of those. Be aware to make the reservation at least 5 or 6 hours before your plan .

We went to Matsuhisa with our friends and had a great dinner. The sushi selection was excellent and so was the service, for an added bonus chef Nobu was there and seemed to be very friendly talking to different guests and taking pictures with them. The only thing that I didn't like was the Decour which I found a bit... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
