We went to Matsuhisa with our friends and had a great dinner. The sushi selection was excellent and so was the service, for an added bonus chef Nobu was there and seemed to be very friendly talking to different guests and taking pictures with them. The only thing that I didn't like was the Decour which I found a bit... More

We arrived in Beverly Hills and all wanted to have sushi. After reading the reviews we were not disappointed when we found Matsuhisa. The service and food were excellent. Highly recommended.

If Jesus came back I would recommend that this is the venue for another last supper. This low key restaurant has a world class pedigree and the service is truly engaging . The food is sensational . The type of experience that makes you smile , congratulate the staff , kiss people randomly ! Well done ! I'll assume Jesus... More

This place is a bit on the pricy side, but has one of the best selections of high quality sushi combinations. Delicious!

Unassuming and easily missed but whenever I am in LA, I never miss a day without having my lunch at this temple for Sushi. Words beg to describe the quality of the Sushi here. It is simply exquisite. An almost religious experience unmatched by any other venue anywhere except at the Fish market in Tokyo. If you are a serious... More

I had heard such wonderful reviews from several friends and business associates that absolutely love this place. Since we were in town, I thought we would try it out. We all had the mushroom soup to start, along with various items from the sushi menu. For our main meal, I had the salmon, my son had the halibut our dinner... More

Although it has been advised by the hotel, this restaurant, socalles Japanese, has nothing to do with Japan. The food, the service and the venue were beneath any level. On top of all this, it is extremely expensive. The only reference to japanese were the pictures with Nobu. But I wonder if Nobu is aware of this, since this would... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
