For more than 25 years we always visited Lawry's when in LA. This time we heard an amazing story. As per usual we ordered the Lawry's cut of prime rib and what we got was about half the meat of what we got in former years, but at a slightly higher price. We enquired and complained, and here is what... More

This could be one of the best meals we had in our many travels all over the world! Cooked to perfection and served with style! Perfect for a special occasion. Will certainly go back!

A lot of hype. The restaurant has a really nice nostalgic ambiance to it. But it is very crowded and once they see you have almost finished your meal they come a take your plate away before you finish chewing. It's pricey, and it's $8 just to park the car. My Prime Rib came with a hot plate but a... More

My father in laws favorite eatery was the old Lawry's California garden center . It has been closed for many years. I was excited when I found out we were going to a birthday celebration at the Lawry's prime rib since I had never been to this location. The food and the service were great but the tables are much... I was looking for a special place to bring Mom & Dad for their Anniversary Dinner and chose Lawry's because Prime Rib was their absolute favorite meal when we were growing up and as a special treat, they would sometimes take us with them so I wanted the dinner to be special and memorable for them. The evening began with... More

Service is great! Food is the best! I don't have much to say about the hostess who I noticed sat certain races in the main dining room and others in the very back. My husband and mother-in-law thought that was strange.

We didn't set out to dine at Lawyr's but fate brought us here. I have used Lawry's seasoning for most of my life but never knew they had a restaurant. And, what a restaurant it is! A step back in time where service is paramount and food is phenomenal ! We didn't have a reservation and it was later in... More

We had our wedding reception here at Lawrys back in 2012. Came back for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed our dinner. Couldn't really eat our lunch during our wedding reception. If you are planning a wedding and don't mind having a lunch reception, consider Lawrys. You'll have the entire restaurant until 2:30pm. Prices are very reasonable. They don't charge extra... More

Meat, lobster tail and Yorkshire pudding were good. Mashed potatoes and gravy, and triffle dessert were not. Famous spinning salad had way too much dressing on it. Very busy on weekends and had to wait even with reservation. The we were stuffed into a two top. For the price there are much better restaurants in the area. Will not return

Love this place for celebrating events. We ran up a bill of over $300. That included wince that was $78/bottle. The food is good and the appetizers of meatballs and chips are good too. I only eat the chips though.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
