Upscale Chinese restaurant in Beverly Hills. Clean, modern decor but table placement is a bit on the cramped side if they are full. The food is fantastic, in particular they have a Gamblers Duck (like Beijing Duck but fried)- one of the best Chinese dishes I've ever had...

Although the service was good the food was poor. Ive had better takeaways. You would expect excellence in this location and price bracket. This has to be the biggest rip off Ive experienced to date. Unless they up their game - dont bother!

We made a reservation for 7:00 pm and then changed it to 8....the hostess told us it would be fine.... When we arrived we were told it would be a while...We watched diners arrive after us, hand a wad of cash to the maitre d', and then get seated. The bar offered a very minimal selection of beer and wine,... More

I had been to to Mr. Chow in Miami which was just below average, both food and service wise. The one in LA is the same. Below average food only with a better service. Food was just so plain Chinese. Pecking duck skin was so thick the duck could have survived winter at Arctic lakes. You can find much better... More

What to say. You go in this restaurant and you aspect the best. But first of all the menu is in plastic, so seems to me very low profile. The food was no good as we aspect more and also let's talk about dessert. They use frozen dessert for Bindi Italian company that they make dessert frozen .We order twice... More

This was a fun place with great food and drink. The seating is tight so you will get to know your neighbours. Supposedly a great spot to see celebs, we didn't see any but well worth going for the food.

This is one of those restaurants in Beverly Hills to see and be seen. It is full of the usual assortment of RRPs and VIPs. So this is what you are really paying for. The food is good but it is not spectacularly good. For the prices charged it should really be spectacularly good, unfortunately it doesn't live up to... More

I've been to Mr Chow in London as well as Beverly. Several times. What shall I say. Nothing special, always the same. The food is ok,but nothing sensational. No innovation regarding kitchen and food. It wasn't specially busy, but I still had to wait a while for a table. Seems to be a character of Mr. Chow restaurants to let... More

Reading reviews I understand what people are saying in a way, the tables are very close together but it's a buzzy restaurant. If you want romance and intimacy this isn't the place. The music is like Ibiza beach music and is not a quiet meal. The prices are more expensive than other Chinese restaurants but this is Mr Chow in... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
