Instead of "authentic" Chinese cuisine, I would call it unique Chinese food. Having just returned from two months in China, Mr. Chow's is not what I would consider authentic. The "noodle show" is fascinating- watching a gentleman take a thick piece of dough and stretching it exquisitely into perfect noodles. As others have said, the tables are uncomfortably close together... More

Everything here is very good but it's the sauces that make the food come alive. If you are not into the various sauces then this place is likely not the place for you.

If you come with no expectations, don't really mind about beautiful interiors but wanna try one of the most interesting tastes and not classic Chinese food - welcome! The food was really good! Shrimps with walnuts- must have! As well as chicken with walnuts. Service is good.

We met friend here for lunch, we were visiting Beverly Hills and he made a last minute reservation for us. The menu was very interesting. While trying to decide, our waiter suggested letting him customize something for us. He asked us what meats we liked, as well as veggies, and if we liked fish. He put together an array of... More

We got the velvet chicken thinking it would come with a sauce or with some kind of flavor, but it was just strips of chicken and basically what you have to do is add their chili paste that they give you. It was good but not exactly what I was expecting. Also its way to congested in there, just too... More

I have eaten at multiple Chinese restaurants around the world and this was undoubtedly the worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten. The food was bland, very basic and completely not worth the price. Every dish could be faulted and while the service and staff was polite and helpful, they could not cover up for the kitchen's mistakes. We paid... More

The food is very good...you have the warranty of Mr. Chow level. What I did not like is the tables are so close to each other that in order to be able to go to be bathroom all the table has to stand up...there is no privacy at all on the conversations.

Best food, great service and let us bring our own birthday cake. The waiters all sang happy birthday to our kids who a great time. Always a good place for dinner and drinks especially early in the evening before the crowds show up.

Went with a group of 8 for dinner. After being to mr chow in London I had recommended it to my group. It was very noisy and cramped restaurant. Food just ok !! Wouldn't go back.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
