I was thrilled to see the beautifully renovated restaurant on my most recent trip to my home away from home, The Peninsula. The food is always outstanding and the staff extraordinary. This is the best hotel in the country in my opinion.

Ate daily breakfast for six mornings. Add 4 lunches and 3 dinners. All were delicious. Best staff as they were happy to serve. Film stars also eat here.

Superb presentation, great ingredients and little contemporary fuss - top quality. The desserts were wonderfully presented.

So much hype without substance , I went to belvedere since i heard of the renovation and new menu , i must say the old one was much better . very bland and tasteless , even the humus was poorly done , the service was excellent and the patio setting for lunch was beautiful , do not recommend it .

I've been patronizing The Belvedere almost since its inception. I dined during their last meal (September 2015) as they closed for a renovation. I finally returned in mid-April (2016) only because other matters interfered with being there for the re-opening. The food and the service remain stellar (well deserved five stars from AAA). In fact, they may have improved. However,... More

One of the many highlights of a stay at The Peninsula is a meal here. The restaurant is relaxed in feel, but the service is upmarket and attentive. You will want to dress up to eat dinner here. An extensive menu offers fresh, healthy food from fresh oysters to hearty steaks, tasty fish, delicate Italian pastas and gorgeous sides of... More

We had champagne and small plates (appetizers) before an event in Beverly Hills at the Belvedere. It was a warm late afternoon, and we sat on the quiet patio. I was surprised there were so few tables on a Saturday evening (5:15 p.m.) The meal and ambience was pretty, peaceful, and elegant. I was purely happy to be enjoying my... More

Elegant world class dining in a beautiful room with outstanding service. The menu was imaginative and delicious. Every staff member from the front desk to the bus-boy were polished, professional, curtious and attentive. Martinis were perfect and the dinner bread was a surprise.

One of the top restaurants in Beverly Hills in one of Forbes' top ranked hotels. The Belvedere has top notch food and service in stunningly beautiful surroundings. It's easy to forget you are near the busy streets of Los Angeles. The entire experience is more an escape than just a meal. One of the best restaurants I have been to... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
