Exspasive menu with a large variety of food from sandwiches to entree items. Portions were generous and price was comparable to deli type restaurants. Food was prepared well and was tasty. I would return to this restaurant again.

A venerable institution in Beverly Hills, this is the closest to authentic NYC deli you'll find in LA. The atmosphere is more like NYC coffee shop, but the food is pure deli. The matzo balls are excellent, the chicken soup is very good but could be better, but the deli meats & sandwiches are amazing. Breakfast is also terrific. There's... More

There were 3 of us and we each had different things. There was matzoh brie, pastrami sandwich and whitefish appetizer. All were really good. Value was pretty good too. My only complaint was that the service was slow. It took a long time before our order was taken and took a long time to get our food. It was really good,... More

Food is out of the park delicious. Pastrami is house made and the best in the city. Double baked rye is perfection. Decor is straight out of the past, but part of the charm. An institution with the most loyal following of any restaurant in the city. Reasonable wait times except weekend mornings...

Really good egg whites and veggies omelet, fresh squeezed orange juice. Sat outside and it was nice! My husband's chopped salad was not great but not bad. Nice traditional deli. I felt I was in New York instead of Beverly Hills.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
