The quintessential Kosher deli cum diner in Beverly Hills. Lively, noisy and authentic, we had a superb experience all including a great Reuben Sandwich, Bagels & Lox and a great Pastrami Omelette. This is s busy place, but the staff endure well and the location is first class. Highly recommend as a top place in the same class as Katz... More

As we were staying in Beverly Hills we looked for somewhere walking distance. There was about a 30 minute wait. But the crowds weren't discouraged by this. So we waited. It was a really good meal. Massive Rueben that I had. A cool joint.

Great old school dinner in the middle of Beverly Hills. Pastrami sandwiches are a must, the entire place has certain charm, great to grab lunch Expect long queues and average service

Among the best Delis in Southern Cal. Back occasionally now, used to live walking distance in the 90s. Pastrami and Matzoh Ball Soup - heaven - and in a real deli atmosphere in the middle of Beverly Hills - does not get better.

I mean really, great deli in Beverly Hills, its a Mitsvah. Great menu, lively, awesome location. What else do you need? Actors? They go there too.

Ok, so I may be a jaded New Yorker but come on...you go to the delicatessen to order a egg, bacon and cheese on a toasted sesame bagel (I needed 4 of them), a 1/2 pint of egg salad and a 1/2 pint of schmear (whipped cream cheese) and you expect to be out in 5-10 minutes - MAX! Anything... More

Had a very pleasant meal. A huge menu that caters for all. Also serves Kosher style foods. A excellent family restaurant.

We ate lunch here on a trip to Beverly Hills, at the recommendation of a couple of friends. The place was very busy, and we decided to wait the 45 minutes to be seated. The check in with the hostess was haphazard, but eventually we were seated. Service was relatively poor. Our table of five was given 3 waters, and... More

This place is worth the wait to get a table. The food is simply spectacular. We had the motzah ball soup. As light and fluffy as I ever had. The Cole slaw was crisp, fresh and sweet. Quality pickles. The bread for the pastrami sandwich was fresh baked and great. That pastrami was world class. I will go to this... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
