A friend recommended for us to go to Il Pastaio. We sat outside as she mentioned inside could get a bit loud. We had lunch and the food was delicious! Salads were excellent we order 4 different ones and they all were good, the bean and kale soup was so good, the pastas were delicious. The best was the one... More

Over hyped, over priced bad food. "Could be anywhere food," solely surviving based on this location in Beverly Hills. Ordered the shrimp and lentil salad, the shrimp was stale and cold, had to return it. Ordered the broccoli and sausage ravioli which to my surprise came with no broccoli and no ravioli! Sad!

If you're in the mood for Northern Italian food this is a good place to start. Sit outside and avoid the noisy inside tables and try to avoid busy weekends and prime dinner hours where the service might suffer. Enjoy the view on Canon Drive as the shoppers saunter by.

Went there on Friday night, yes it is busy as always. - The location is good, close to the rodeo drive. parking is always a challenge if you dont opt for vallet - We had arrabiatta, lobster ravioli, fried calamari, tiramisu, panna cotta and coffee. The taste is good but not great - Service is great, waiter is very attentive,... More

One of the best restaurants we visited in our trip throughout California. Welcoming staff from the very first moment, attentive and always ready to serve, interested in knowing about our country, our trip, without overdoing it. They were communicative and present, without being neither invasive nor inopportune. Excellent food, pasta al dente with perfectly balanced and seasoned sauce, as was... More

The food was good. But a place to remember and to come back to requires the right people and service, too. Our host showed attitude right from the beginning. She didn't answer questions, was impatient and unattentive. The main course was slammed onto the table, before we had a chance to finish the starters. And we had to grab onto... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
