Couple of Sundays evening ago I drove to the all time attentive Valets that welcome you, and that will keep your esteemed car in front. It is nice to feel welcome to a hotel that did not fall into the tired "Boutique Hotel" craze that started in the late 80's... The late redo of 2012 left a rather "Insipid Classic... More

This is a very classic location that's very well known in Beverly Hills. Although the food was nothing special, very average the service was good. The locations a bit dark which makes it's not too appealing.

I coerced my apprehensive 19 and 21 year olds to join me on the premise of the fantastic desserts. We went quite late on a weeknight and the place was still popping, complete with a fabulous guitarist performing contemporary tunes, totally setting a "we're glad we came" mood for my kids. People watching is the best. My dessert of choice... More

Great bistros in Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles have come and gone, but this venerable icon has endured as the lasting symbol of show biz power brokering. One does not need an invite as is the case as the tiny Rao's on 116th Street in East Harlem or pure luck which is what it takes to get a reservation... More

The Polo Lounge was recommended to us by friends and we decided to give it a try while we were in LA. Upon entering, you get an old school Hollywood vibe. We chose to sit outside and the decorations were nothing spectacular. Our waiter came promptly (dressed in the old school waiter uniforms) and took our order. We ordered the... More

I had heard the Polo Lounge was a "must do" for dinner, so I didn't hesitate to make a reservation. The restaurant itself is cozy, a great atmosphere both for solo diners, couples or business dinners. The staff was very courteous, and I felt they went out of their way to make me feel right at home. I had their... More

Description
The Polo Lounge has been the favorite breakfast spot and watering hole for generations of stars and Hollywood deal-makers. Guests enjoy indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night suppers. Lunch and dinner are served with piano accompaniment alternating with light jazz on the patio during the long summer nights. Jazz music is also featured during Sunday Brunch. In the evening guests can come to relax and enjoy one of our many specialty cocktails or one of our old favorites.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
