I chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner, and I'm sad to say that I thought that it was just OK. The decor is fabulous and the option of eating on different floors is neat. The food, however, did not impress. I ordered the twin lobster tails and shared scalloped potatoes and wild mushrooms with the table. For it being... More

Easily one of my favorite steakhouses in the world- ambiance, service, the steak itself. It was just a little noisy, and you have to bring your appetite. The steak was massive!

Went for a birthday dinner and the Chilean Sea Bass was to die for. the scallops and everything we had was fabulous. It has a great atmosphere and we were waited on by our waiter with great attention and care. I enjoyed being upstairs and later went to bar and listen to music.

Basic geography for this place is that there are two floors for dining: upstairs and main floor. If you want to dine in a dark, noisy crowded place, opt for upstairs. Specifically: It is impossible to read the menu by the ambient light upstairs. So when you look around, you will see cell phone lights among your fellow diners. The... More

Took my daughter here for a special night out in Beverly Hills. We sat upstairs and enjoyed the music and people watching! Our filets were delicious and the lobster mashed potatoes were mouthwatering!! The side portions are REALLY big so plan on sharing. It was definitely pricey, but that should be expected at a Beverly Hills steakhouse. We would love... More

Second Mastro's we have visited., the other being in Malibu. The location tells you it is gong to be pricey but that is ok if it's worth it. This place was excellent. Great food and service. There is a live piano player on the second floor and a nightclub vibe on the top floor - so something for all occasions.... More

Had as good for 1/2 the price, had to be the entertainment charge for watching people, watching people. GF asked for asparagus not... More

Excellent food, excellent service and very good ambience. It is a little bit noisy in the third floor but it is completely worth it. The only think I did not like at all is that at the entrance, I asked the hostess about our reservation and she did not gave us the table because we were only 4, the reservation... More

I've had better food for a fraction of the price. We flew in from Philly. The service is A1. The wait staff is so attentive and they threw in a free dessert. There was karaoke while we were there. I did not partake. Overall I wouldn't go back.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
