Have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and can't really say anything bad about it. The food is absolutely fantastic and very authentic Italian cuisine. Great pizza, great pasta and great seafood. The place is always busy and I've noticed there are always people speaking Italian to the waiters, so obviously with so many Italian restaurants in the area, this... More

We found this place walking around Beverly Hills. At first it has sort of a touristy feel so we weren't sure what the quality would be like - be we ended up really enjoying it. Great carpaccio, soup, pizzas. Good portions. Very friendly staff who bent over backwards to find us the perfect spot outside. Inside was nice as well,... More

My family went to dinner at this restaurant. It is situated at a pretty upscale neighborhood, adjacent to other great restaurants. The food was ok. We had various types of pastas, soup and salad. The server was very unfriendly and disrespectful. So despite the very promising ambiance, the server ruined the experience. I will never recommend this place, or visit... More

Interestingly enough I read a newer review from someone who mentioned not to get pizza? You're crazy if you miss out on their Margherita pizza, homemade crust from Sicily! You cannot go wrong! From pasta to their famous branzino and don't forget the molten pistachio dessert. Drago brothers restaurants are all fantastic- Chef Tonino is our favorite. Couples, family or... More

It is an excellent restaurant if you sit on the Canon side of the patio and order salads, risotto and fish. Do not order traditional pasta and pizza- you will miss the brilliance of the great Northern Italian cuisine. Be prepared to only order the most expensive entrees- the top end is brilliant, the normal is not worth it. Do... More

I had lunch at Via Allora on a beautiful Saturday afternoon..We sat outside on the patio. We ordered identical soft drink beverages. One drink was delivered immediately. However the second drink arrived almost ten minutes later. After that snafu the service was better. The food was delicious. Great ambience and perfect location for people watching.

Firstly the good, we shared a pizza to start with which was excellent as was the risotto entrée. The not so good would be the paillard di pollo which was dry and surprisingly salty. The wait staff were attentive although the meal seemed to take an age to come. One other thing that I find annoying is when the refuse... More

This is a great spot for delicious food, good service, and lots of TV's for the sports fan who wants a good italian meal. The TV's are not obtrusive, so you don't feel like you're at a sports bar, but they are visible from most every table if you don't want to miss the game. It is our go-to restaurant... More

We were there for a business group dinner on the patio with a fixed menu. While the food was good, we really did not get to sample the breadth of their menu which we heard from friends and colleagues was truly exceptional. Maybe next time!

Three of us had dinner on January 30. This is a great location for people watching. Valet parking is available and recommended. Reservation is necessary for prompt seating. We all agreed the food was above average and better than most. One of us requested an off menu dish of eggplant and it was perfect. Excellent wine list. Service was good... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighborhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
