My wife and I were visiting the San Francisco area and we found ourselves in the east bay town of Berkeley. We looked for somewhere to have lunch, and we came across La Note. We had the most wonder meal, an Tunafish sandwich, which was...More

Omelettes are delicious, always tempting to have anything with their raspberry jam or coulis, but many other better breakfast places. I think for breakfast at lunchtime especially if with person/people who dont want breakfast it is a good choice (salad nicoise is excellent). Crowded, average...More

La note is a great place to spend some hours alone or with family and friends. The brunch menu is larger than the lunch one, but both have good options. The desserts and teas are also good. The staff is very attentive and the place...More

Oozing a sensuous Provençal vibe, the food here is sublime. On a warm day, sit out on the back deck and drink rose while enjoying a potato omelette. O, so south of France.

You cannot go wrong with this place. Great service and atmosphere. If I had "cafe-style" options for my omelette, it would be even better.

We had a pleasant evening in this quaint French restaurant. There is often live music in the evenings which might not be to everyone’s liking. The food was good and the waiters were very attentive.

I have not been there for brunch, but I would expect long lines. I don't know if you can phone for reservations. In my opinion, nearly any wait is worth it.
