You can see from all the pictures what kind of food they have here and yes, it's delicious. Be prepare to wait for a table and to look for parking, but if you chose not to let this things get to you then you will not be disappointed.

Tried to go here on the weekend, crazy busy, but once you see how limited the seating is, you can understand. Did manage to have breakfast on a weekday and it was very good. Fun, diner feel, service was good and food was good too.

went there this morning for breakfast for breakfast ordering an omelette with tomatoes onions and green peppers simple right? Not so much what I got was and I meant with these glob of cold onions and tomatoes in the middle of the omelette completely disgusting and it wasn't cheap as you can tell by the receipt to make matters worse... Tiny little place that always has a wait, but worth it. Tip: go on a week day morning and the wait is not so long. Or go solo and be willing to sit at the counter, which has a view of the kitchen. We actually learned to poach a perfect egg by observing them over and over. Best dishes are... More

First of all there is NO ocean view from this restaurant. My daughter and I ordered the souffle pancakes with seasonal fruit. I know it says you have to wait it takes a while but we waited over 20 minutes and all the food came out but mine. It took another 5-10 minutes on mine and when it came out... More

We decided to try Bette's for a 4th of July lunch. In addition to myself and my wife, our 20 and 22 year old kids joined us. We had to wait about 1/2 an hour, but that is typical on a weekend. However, the 1/2 estimate was right on. The place was packed and was a real diner. It had... More

We had to wait 20 minutes for a table but the food was worth the wait. Our breakfast started with excellent strong coffee. Wow, they know how to make coffee. We followed up with a short stack of blueberry pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. A simple meal made exceptional by Bette's.

A trip to Berkeley is not complete without breakfast at Bette's.... Just don't expect to view the ocean! The Omelettes are perfect, the home fries are out of this world and the pancakes are insanely fluffy. Only downside is you will undoubtedly have to wait for a table, but it's worth it.

There is always a long line to get in, but truthfully, the food at Bette's is not anything too special, just standard, OK breakfast fare. Coffee is not even that good.

Bette's diner is not to missed but be ready for a wait to get in... Locals and visitors alike love this place for the freshly baked good and fresh ingredient used to create Bette's food. If you are lucky enough to sit at the counter you will be treated to a wonderful show of the cooks working furiously to concoct... More
