Great value and fabulous choices for this restaurant on the edge of fame. Not a new restaurant at all-just new to me and I'm not sure how I missed the reviews! Make reservations- hard to get in but worth it!

We had made reservations for a Saturday night and were seated right away. Pretty simple menu, which is ok with me. I had ordered the marinated mushrooms and the squid ink pasta. The squid ink pasta was pretty good but I wished it had come with some sort of meat in it. Service was just ok, nothing really stood out.... More

Just had dinner at Trattoria Corso before a visit to Berkeley Rep and was very favourably impressed. The eggplant involtini were very yummy, stuffed with good quality mozzarella and on a bed of excellent marinara sauce. Then the pasta --a name I'd never heard of starting with a "c" and about 8 characters long- shaped like a pot sticker and... More

What a great find. We had made reservations (highly recommended) 3 hours before our concert at the Greek so we could have a relaxed date night. You have to get the salami platter. The coppa is home made and the best we have had (even in Italy). I had the Ribollita (Tuscany soup) to start and it had so much... More

I had dinner with my wife here. I advise to reserve a table in advance. The place seems to be a hot spot in Berkeley. The food was regular but we had some hustle with the price of the house wine. They tried to overcharge us.

This restaurant has a very good atmosphere. The food unfortunately was only OK. For appetizers the caprese salad was not made from Mozzarella di Bufala ! (unheard of in Italy :-) The three pastas we ordered where fine, but definitely not great. We ended up paying $180 for three including a carafe of wine, definitely not cheap.

I have been here several times over the last few years and this restaurant is always good. Starting with the salumi platter, which on this night was a mix of fried pork rinds, prosciutto, coppa, pate on toast, and more, then progressing to the terrific salads and finally to the main courses: cavatelli, tagliatelle (come on... teach your wait staff...
