We were totally disappointed! First of all the service was miserable… the interior was old and really needed renovation, not even looking like an authentic national restaurant. The food was not well prepared, so they brought it back to the kitchen. At the end they...put some extra food on the bill which was not good at all. Please be advised that you can pay only with cash. This is my favorite restaurant in Krusevo where I have already been several times. The local cuisine is delicious and the chef is wonderfully friendly. I will definitely return again as always when in Krusevo.
Excellent service, great local produce well cooked and presented , such a broad selection of dishes especially the local soup and meat dishes. Very tasty and as Arnie said " l'll be back".
I have traveled to Macedonia 11 times in the past 11 years and spent a month there each year. My wife is Macedonian and we visit her Mother each time in Bitola. Sadly my wife's Mother past away this year in February and we returned...there to finish off the legal matters involved in her passing. Personally I love Macedonia and their people. The food is exceptional. While in Macedonia, I always try to travel though out the country and I have probably visited more cities and villages then most Macedonians. In 2011 I traveled to Krusevo to see the "Toshe" Pavillion and grave site. At that time I had dinner at SAPE's restaurant and gave Sape a Toronto Police Shoulder Patch, which he placed on his guitar on the wall in his restaurant. Fast forward to 2018 and we are at Sape's Restaurant in Kreshevo and he recognized me right away. and took me into the restaurant to show me the Toronto Police Shoulder Patch on his guitar on the wall. We took some group photos of it. Sadly Sape's Mother had just passed away on the 2nd of August 2018 and SAPE'S Father was in the restaurant and you could see the horrible sadness of loss in his face from his wife's passing. It was so heart wrenching to see. the sorrow in Sape's and his Father's face. It was so emotional and we cried. It was so sad!!! And then Sape cooked us the best meal we have ever enjoyed in Macedonia. Sape is a giant of a man and his cooking skills equal his size. When you go Macedonia, a trip to Krusevo , "the eagles nest" is really something you will thoroughly enjoy and to complete that trip, you must eat at Sape's Restaurant. What a Great Cook!!!! We've been back here for years - so far we haven't eaten anything average or bad. Great cuisine, great, fresh ingredients, really good selection of traditional Macedonian dishes. If you like meet, try 'selsko meso' or shirden (or anything else)... if you prefer vegetables, try...'Šape' salad.More
In Krusevo was not too many Restaurants and we decided Sape as our point for lunch. it vas proper decision, we had a variety of local Macedonian food and Skopsko beer. Fair prices. Recomended.

If you want to try local Macedonian food and you’re in Krusevo, try going to restaurant Sape. We tried a number of cuisines and our favorites were the punjena pljeskavica, topeno sirenje (cheeses) and the other dish which was composed of 4 different types of...meat (forgot what it’s called). The food were reasonably priced. Try also the local beer. The staff were very friendly and spoke reasonable English.More
They seeve very good food. You must try the pleskavitza, and the soups.... The staff is very nice and speak very well english.
There are not a great many options in Krusevo and Sape is probably one of the best. That said, in comparison to similar "ethno" restaurants in Macedonia it is not top drawer. We visited this restaurant several times and every time we were satisfied. We tried macedonian local cuisine, european cuisine, everything was very tasty. Prices were cheap, service good so if you sometimes visit Kruševo, this can be good restaurant for you.
Average looking restaurant ... very old :) Has it's charms, food was ok ... a bit too greasy for my taste. I would however recommend visiting if you are in Krusevo.

Nice centre location friendly staff.. delicious meat dishes. Very reasonable prices, beer is cold! Right opposite a mini super market. Staff spoke an understood English well.
