Superb Food and Friendly Service

We had the pleasure of dining at Divino's after a Masterworks Chorale concert yesterday. Our first time at the restaurant, but most certainly not our last. The extensive menu, including that for a host of daily specials, made a meal choice more than just a bit challenging. So many tasty sounding... read more

Divino used to be our favorite Italian restaurant. But at a recent visit, we found it changed for the worse. Seems a new chef was in charge, and the cooking became more saucy. The Ling COD special looked and tasted like red snapper. Linguini was swimming in oil. Rather disappointing.

Quiet, no background music. Few large tables. Little ambience, walls muted, low lighting, food mediocre, service bland.

We dropped in without reservations and took the last high table in the bar. Drinks and dinner were beautifully presented. We highly recommend this very popular and friendly restaurant. Outstanding and delicately flavored food

Had lunch with my wife. I ordered a pasta, the sauce on which was very nice. Had the potato leek soup first and it was very tasty. She had mussels. They were the most plump and tender mussels she has had in years. Will be returning for many more lunches.

Four of us went to celebrate a birthday and anniversary and had a real nice meal. The service was great with plenty of info about the various items. The staff was always checking to see if anything was needed without hovering behind us. The meals were well presented and delicious. Being a celebration we went for the apps, main dishes,... More

My son and his wife and I decided to try this restaurant recently to celebrate their first pregnancy. My daughter-in-law has numerous restrictions in her diet and the server was most accommodating in answering our questions and finding out if certain dishes had even a dash of something that was not allowed. The food was divine. We all tried something... More

I recently took my family to Divino on a Sunday night. I guess this is not the night to go. They were all out of fish, and we were there at 6:30pm. I’m guessing they ran out on Saturday and were not able to restock. Four of us had the Risotto special with “Duck Prosciutto”. The risotto was cooked beautifully,... More

Vincenzo is an amazing chef. The food here is always incredible. I had the parpadelle and my friends ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the sedadini. We had a wonderful bottle of Barbaresco. This is a neighborhood gem. Great service too.

Every detail is seriously considered from taste to presentation. Service is impeccable and the food is really great. Better for a romantic dinner but good for friends too
