When my wife I lived in the Bay Area, we used to go here on dates (that was many years ago -80' and 90's). It was with great nostalgia that we were able to return and find the same great environment, service and food. Thanks for not changing - it is like a time capsule and we love it!

One of the best 1/2 lb burgers on the Peninsula. Jucy, cooked to perfection, and if you do not want a regular bun, they will put it on any other bread they have. Comes with a variety of sides, personally I like the french fries crispy. Match it with a Guinness beer or your favorite beverage and you will not... More

Went here on a business dinner. The location is a little strange, but quaint. Place has been there for 65+ years. Good selection of salads, fish, pasta, and MEAT. Large portions of protein available for the meat lover. 3/4 pound filet mignon and sirloin, 2 pound prime rib, thick chops, huge ossobuco...come hungry!

Round table for seven and beautiful Holiday lights! Food was very good as was the waiter. Lobster tail and prime rib outstanding. Only negative was fried shrimp that two people ordered was well under and not crispy at all. Rookie on the fryer. Will be back!

Stopped in on a cold wet winter night. Definitely worth the short trip up the hill even on a rainy night. Views are great and the grounds and buildings have a unique and homey feeling. As far opposite a chain restaurant imaginable which is great! I opted for the prime rib (smaller cut $39) which was outstanding. Served with a... More

Awesome. I've been there at the end of November, Christmas atmosphere, decorations, lighting... just awesome!!! Fillet mignon and "Texas style" steak are highly recommended. Very romantic place for the couples by the way.

The view is great..the parking easy, but the dinner was just OK.... $50.00 a head they charged for a $28 meal and they ended up charging for soft drinks for the kids... unbelievable that they couldn't have the soft drinks for free. Desert was pumpkin pie - not the best. Staff was nice. Hopefully our company will NEVER book here... More

First, the view. CalTrain, the Bay, East & South Bays, incoming SFO flights. Days? Very nice, but at night it's magical for those of us who like twinkly lights. Menu is standard, retro, traditional American fare as we've known it for decades. It's a carnivore's delight - steaks, prime rib, pork chops, as well as chicken, prawns, calamari, many green...
