We met friends here, on their recommendation. Not the most convenient location but on a Sunday it was a leisurely drive. Nice restaurant, nice decor and friendly service. We had to try the mole and opted for the TRES MOLES over pork and the CHILE EN NOGADA. Mole was delicious but we thought a little pricey for Mexican. Guacamole was... More

Please don't be discouraged for the location. They have valet parking at weekends and the BEST Best Chile en Nogada!! Remember the famous movie called "Como Agua para Chocolate" where they have Chile en Nogada, well here you find them at its best setting! Too bad that I couldn't get the recipe!!! As a Mexican American I know what is... More

Worth going to have a cup of coffee/Cafe de Olla. (The flavor of Café de olla is created by using ground coffee, cinnamon, and also piloncillo, which is a traditional sugar from Mexico) sweet cinnamon coffee. Three Mole Enchiladas- smothered in mole poblano, red and green pepián. Delicious and beautiful presentation! The inside of the restaurant is colorful and filled... More

I was brought to this place by a local. There is a parking lot at the back of the restaurant that most people don't know about. Most of the reviews here are correct. One toilet for the whole restaurant is definitely not enough. We were here at lunchtime and it was not busy. This makes a big difference for service... More

Living well over a thousand miles from the border, I struggle at home to find Mexican restaurants that even begin to approach the delight I experienced at lunch at La Casita Mexicana. I have seen moles and tortillas on many a menu, but I'm hard pressed to recall a lunch as pleasant as this. Some special touches: the gift shop... More

A couple of years ago my wife and I went to Puebla, Mexico, to sample the wonderful cuisine for which the city is noted. The best-tasting dish we discovered was the Chiles en Nogada, a poblano chile filled with picadillo topped with a walnut-based cream sauce and pomegranate seeds. Since then, we've ordered it every time we've seen it on... More

Was there for lunch 2 weeks ago very about 5pm and a lot was not working. First time we went there it was very good. First off the waiter did not know the specials. I did not have place settings. I asked for my meat to be medium rare and it was terribly over cooked resembling shoe leather. Couldn't cut... More

I will not return to a restaurant that has so little regard for its patrons. There is only one "toilet" for over 100 people. There is room to put at least 2 more, but the haven't put the money into it. One, if the need arises, most indur the humiliation of sitting (they actually have 4 seats for those waiting)... More
