We never order "regular" Mexican food. We just order seafood. My wife gets the coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail} and I get the fillet of fish and shrimp with jalapeno butter Delicious. We both get the same every time we go. Don't go if you are in a hurry.

This is a great place to bring a large or small party as it is big enough for the biggest group. This has one of the nicest atmospheres for Mexican food in Bakersfield. We've tried a large amount of the menu items and were very satisfied with all of them. Great food, drinks, and service. Enough said.

Went there early on a weekday night (e.g., not a busy time). Waited 40 minutes for food (not a good thing with a toddler). Good thing we ordered drinks and guacamole. The food was okay: chicken mole that basically tasted like chocolate (yes, that's an ingredient in some mole sauces, but it shouldn't taste overwhelming like a chocolate sauce), and... More

This restaurant was great when it open several years ago. It then moved to its current Ice House location and it maintained its high quality and added a full bar service.

This restaurant is always top notch. Great food. Great service. Everything is always fresh. I had the seafood molcajete. And my wife likes the pescado almendrado. I also enjoy the Chile Verde which is very spicy. Overall you can't go wrong with any thing you order.

Some really great spins on the traditional taco. Everything was great. You will not regret the trek downtown. Probably not great for large parties.

We were traveling across California from Death Valley to Fresno and wanted to make sure we tried some Mexican food along the way. We lucked out picking La Costa Mariscos. They had a great location, creative drinks, and very great food. The day we were there they had Mariachi playing from table to table. Very nice! What sets them apart... More
