At the end of a road trip, we decided to stay at the Padre and eat at the Belvedere. What a treat! The food was superb and the dining room has great decor. Our server advised us on food and wine selection and every part...More

We had a Sunday Brunch here. It was a little above average. We were there about thirty minutes after they opened, but a lot of their foods still weren’t out yet. What we did have was good, but I wouldn’t call it exceptional. If we...More

I really enjoyed my flat iron steak salad, it was cooked exactly as I asked, and all the elements were fresh and it was beautifully presented. Cannot complain at all. I ordered hot tea and got gourmet, very very nice herb tea, served with fresh...More

I attended the Belvedere Room with friends and family for a celebration. I had no idea what to expect. First I noticed the decor. It was upscale but still inviting with character. When we were seated I was surprised at the selection of wines. A...More

Dined at The Belvedere with a business group. We tried several of the steaks including the Wagyu, which we highly recommend. Service was just right. Some of the wines were half price that night so they were very good value. One of the better meals...More

Had a nice meal, a little expensive, a little noisy with the bar down the hall, the restrooms are in the basement, they are unique, the elevator is slow as molasses.

We were staying at the Padre Hotel and offered a 20% discount on dinner as hotel guests so of course we decided to try it. There are not many good dining options in downtown Bakersfield. This was a lovely experience - the room itself is...More
