We ate supper here while staying at The Louis hotel in Wilson. It was a great experience. The manager was extremely friendly, sharing details about the dishes on the menu, his experiences in other areas and making sure we had a nice meal. The portions were huge and prices are very reasonable. From the appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert everything was fresh and great. The baked items were made at their sister restaurant and bakery across the street and first class. We will definitely go here again anytime we have an opportunity.

All I can say is OMG! The service was attentive. The food … the food was beyond delicious!
We went for Sunday brunch,
I had salmon and egg crepes with hollandaise sauce. So good!
We had bread pudding for dessert and probably the best o have ever had, seriously, no joke!
We are coming back during the week for dinner!
Very cute, quaint, southern town!

We like to eat healthy while travelling and rarely find good food in remote locations. Travelling I-55S we drove 6 miles out of our way to try Wilson's Care & Tavern - oh wow, what a winner! Peter had a salad (Arugala, Quinoa, Dried Cranberries, Goat Cheese and Candied Pecans w/ Shrimp) - oh my it was tasty! I ordered a Turkey, Bacon, Swiss, Avocado Club with a Garlic Aioli with French Fries because they looked sinfull as one of the waitresses passed our table. The oil must have just been changed because those fries were clean and the sanwich was delish! For dessert our waitress Amiyah (whose personality was as beautiful as she was) talked us into the Cheesecake & Chocolate Cheese Pie. I never order cheesecake because no one can ever measures up to Moms, but this was light, fluffy and exceptional! If you want a rock solid menu, exceptional service, and a Chef serving up the flavor, then the Wilson's Cafe is where you should head! Oh yeah, and super clean restrooms for the weary travellers! A+

Dining at the Wilson Cafe feels special because of the delectable food, the beautiful surroundings, and the spectacular waitstaff. At dinner, my steak was so tender, I could cut it with a fork, and it was cooked to perfection. My friends and I split the bread pudding desert, which came hot from the oven in a little iron skillet. It was absolutely divine. For lunch, my friends ordered the green tomato sandwiches, while I ordered the cubano panini. The sandwiches were just exotic enough to be really special. The waitstaff at brunch and dinner were so attentive. The staff is extremely well-trained. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting offered on Friday afternoon, and our sommelier was so fun! He was both knowledgeable, yet down-to-earth.

My husband and I drove over from Memphis on a Saturday just to get out of town.
The brunch was really good. I had the scotched egg and my husband had the Farmers Breakfast. My dish was well prepared and was just delicious. My husband, unfortunately had a sausage that was underdone and had to be sent back twice. I will say that we were give a piece of cheese cake as compensation and it was the best chees cake we have ever eaten! So much better than a sausage patty :). We will go back again.

I’m so sorry to say that the new management hasn’t brought back the quality and value of the cafe.
The prices were a little high before, but now they’re higher after the pandemic reopening.
I’ve eaten one good meal with them. Therefore the ‘average’ rating.
The Quality of meat in the burger paddy was top notch, but the garnishes were below even fast food. Garlic on top of garlic; and that’s all I taste now that I’ve left... all I small from my eating partner.
I gave my personal choices for how I wanted it fixed, as did my partner. However, they weren’t followed.
For the price, I should get it my way!
Whew. We stink!! Lol.
Friends outside this little city; please reconsider driving out of the way for this restaurant.

A group of about 15 of us traveled up to Wilson from Memphis last Sunday specifically to have lunch at the Wilson Cafe. The choices were difficult to make. Most everyone ordered something different and there was not one dissatisfied customer in our group! I am really looking forward to going back there to try a different entree'! The staff? Very professional and very nice.

Wilson is a very small town in the middle of eastern Arkansas Delta farm country. We were very surprised to find the Wilson Cafe there on the picturesque town square. The service was everything you’d expect at a first class southern restaurant. We were treated very well by everyone who worked there. They were all pleasant and attentive. The Saturday Brunch menu was great, it was hard to choose. We started with an order of beignets which were delish. Our entrees were excellent as well. We finished with a piece of buttermilk pie to share. When they found out it was both my wife’s and my brother in law’s birthday they comped us the pie and champagne too! A great dining experience!

Loved the area, cute decor and wonderful staff. Had brunch. Bloody Mary wasn’t good, so skip that. Mimosas wasn’t that great either. Hot ham and cheese was delicious, would have that again. Chicken and waffles was good but lacking on portion size. Turkey club was ok, out of avocado on this day so that might have contributed to that. Good place, loved the area and would eat here again. Be sure to check out the farmers market across the street.

Myself and 4 others decided to try the Wilson Cafe.
The food was HORRIBLE! The food was old and reheated. The bathrooms were not properly stocked with basic essentials.
The prices are very expensive for the low quality dining experience. Very bad food.
We will not be back!

Another surprise in little Wilson, AR is this cafe. Beautiful interior that takes pride in its town. The food is awesome! Everything my family had was so good. Save room for the donut bread pudding (or get it to go like we did). Out of this world good!

This place although new, is not properly cleaned. It has a bad smell to it and dirty feel, as soon as you walk in, you experience this sticky smell, we walked in and did not want to eat there. Staff was also not very welcoming.

Sunday brunch on a sunny day with 70-degree weather!
This was my first time to Wilson, even though I have driven the I-55 section hundreds of times. I remember reading about the person who bought the town years ago and thought, "Cool. I hope it works out," and then went on with my life.
I'd read the online reviews of this "cafe" and was curious, but my sister was treating me to brunch, so I had little to lose.
Our water was served with lemon slices and was served in stemmed glasses. Nice. Plus, they were generous with ice. Double nice.
As an appetizer, we ordered rustic home-style bread with compound butter. The three slices were thick, warm, dense, fragrant, and a bit buttery. The bread was flavorful on its own, but the compound butter featured garlic and some herbs making it out-of-this-world tasty. I think it may have had a bit of dill in it, but I forgot to ask.
From looking at the online menu, I had resigned myself to a hamburger because I only eat a hamburger in restaurants and only when there's nothing else on the menu that tempts me. I was shocked that the brunch menu didn't have Eggs Benedict because that's my go-to brunch meal.
Thankfully, they did have Eggs Benedict as a special. Yay! The Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was delicious and filling. No skimpy portions. The side of country potatoes was served with catsup, and while they were tasty, they could have been seasoned more instead of relying upon catsup. Plain potatoes with a burger is one thing, but when served for breakfast, they need some flavor. I have no complaints about my meal. I don't know the price because my family member paid for my meal.
When told the dessert items (bread pudding, some kind of pecan pie, etc.), we passed. If it doesn't have chocolate in it, I'm not interested. Plus, I typically don't eat dessert if I've also had an appetizer.
We were seated in the large room with the bar. Had it been packed, I don't know that I would have enjoyed the meal as much as I did. It's all hard surfaces, so had it been packed, it would have been incredibly noisy. It's brightly lit and both elegant and charming. We were seated by a window overlooking the square, the courtyard, or whatever it's called, with all the Tudor-style buildings.
The restrooms are one person only, so knock before turning the knob! I like that they had thick paper towels. The hand soap seemed a bit drying, so I wish they had an unscented hand lotion in the ladies' room.
The service was fine. They have a hostess and servers.
If you're a foodie and you don't mind driving an hour or so, this is a destination point for those from the surrounding areas, such as Memphis, Jonesboro, etc.
