With a working hypothesis that the tavern of Nea Erythraia belongs in the broadest sense to that of Keratsini (for which we have an opinion), we visited it. If it does not fall under then we will immediately delete our opinion. The area in Nea Erythrea where the tavern is located is densely populated so parking requires patience, unless you park at the entrance as another group did the day we went. We made a reservation in time and the manager advised us to sit outside which he was right and we thank him. The space inside is tasteful but the space outside is just as neat. The menu is oriented towards seafood and an interesting touch is the sushi counter (and other delicacies of Asian origin). For starters, the welcome plate of fava beans with anchovies. In our knowledge we ordered taramo salad, shrimp sushi, grilled fish, spaghetti with shrimp, barley with seafood, a bottled white wine and house wine. I will avoid any allusion to quantity or prices and focus on the fact that what came to our table was well prepared, we did not face any problems with indigestion or problems from some poor quality material. At the end we were offered liqueur, something like a lemon sorbet and sweets which we didn't try (so we have no opinion) but from their texture they seemed completely fresh. The receipt of the bill was cut in time on the plus side the fact that the card payment was made by EFT/POS which they brought to the table. This is a magnificent restaurant where you can find fresh and tasteful fish.
The steaming mussels are a dream. The cod fish is very fresh. We also ordered a main dish that was not in the menu which was fish kebab with grilled blites. Ouzo of course is a necessity.
Reservation should be made especially for a larger group of people.
Every dish was a small wonder. Worths every single euro

Fantastic food, perfect service.
Unique snacks with a little bit of price but what we ate was great there was not a single dish that we didn't like.

I started from Glyfada to go to these traditional fish taverns with crayfish. Somewhere I got lost and read fish restaurant "Traveling" I had read about the reviews and the rating corresponded to the quality, amazing tastes, impeccable behavior!. We highly recommend it. We visited the restaurant with my husband and children the staff was very polite and welcoming. We had a lovely lunch, ceviche and carpaccio from fresh fish was delicious. This place is a neighbourhood gem with consistent quality which we will visit again!!

Service was fast and very friendly. Staff spoke good English and they serve an English menu.
Prices are average & affordable compared to other places.
