Tried to book a table but we were told that they work on first come first serve concept. We arrived at 1300 and were able to find a table on the terrace by the parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Food is just average , if...not below. we ordered mainly mariscos ( seafood),chupe. Not fresh at all, got food poisoned. Ten years ago was much different.. Nice views to the beaches and hills. Paid 210.000 for 4 persons with 4 Pisco sours and a bottle of wine plus 4 main dishes and a salad. NOT recomendedMore

This is -undoubted- the best place to eat in central coastal towns in Chile. The climate, and people you can find it pretty much everywhere… but the food and team is AMAZING! It’s does it not have parallel. Mateo and his team in the bar...can get you can get you anything you want. “Don Julito” manages the place and reservations, and the crew is friendly and amazingly prompt. Everything is fresh, and the best that Chile coast shore has to offer,More

Went there last Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with my wife and two relatives thinking that the middle of the week should make for a smooth experience. We waited over an hour for parking to free up and for us to be seated. After a round...of beverages and placing our order, we waited for another hour and fifteen minutes only to be told that they were experiencing a bottle neck in the kitchen and our order would be a bit longer, but could not give us an estimate of how long. At that, we asked to cancel the order and to bring us the check for the drinks. They were at least decent enough to do so, and didn't charge for the drinks. Since we ate nothing, I can't comment on the quality of the food. However, the pisco sour we drank was made with some kind of mix rather than fresh lemon juice, and was extremely over priced (equivalent to about USD $8.00). The only positive about the whole experience was the service of the parking attendant who went out of his way on a couple of occasions to help us out (we left him a tip). El Chiringuito has just lost a couple of Chilean residents as customers who would possibly have returned if things had gone well.More

We went for lunch before the pandemic in 2020, it was an early lunch and there was nobody in the restaurant, just us; we sat down, they brought us the menu and we ordered... once we were ready to leave we asked for the bill....They brought the bill and we put our Amex on the table to pay. The waiter came back and told us that the credit card machine was not working and so they can only accept cash. We did not have enough Chilean pesos so we told the waiter "sorry but you should have said that upon our arrival"... then he told us that we can pay in $ US dollars!... I said not!; anyhow, they refused to let us pay with our credit card, although it's posted on the entry door "all credit card are accepted"; they got very aggressive and we were forced to pay in $ US dollars!: Food NOT that great, very common, nothing gourment; bad service, the waiter never came back to our table not even once!, expect to bring the bill...the prices way too expensive. I will never go back to that place again. Ridiculously expensive, bad service, not gourmet food, and they take advantage of the tourist. It's a "Tourist Trap"... I must say that the scenery is beautiful!.More

The restaurant has a good location by the sea. The service is good. The dishes are fair but nothing great and the prices are excessive. bad price-quality ratio.

Simple fresh food with an amazing view of Zapallar and Isla Liles. Local inspired dishes done with fresh seafood and/or fish. Even if it’s a 2h drive from Santiago, I would go to Zapallar just for this restaurant! Better to make a reservation in advance...since it’s a popular restaurant...More

Excellent restaurant if you can afford it. Try to get a reservation at the terrace, next to the sea. The service is friendly, the seafood is amazing, and the view is outstanding.

We were staying at the Hotel Isla Seca and enjoyed our lunch on the terrace so much that we returned that evening for dinner. The waiter was charming and took time to help us with the menu. The fish was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

This was our lunch stop on our Chile Dream Tours Pacific Treasures day. They even held our waterside table for us an extra 30 minutes as we were late! Sean did a great job working with the restaurant and coordinating the rest of our tour,...so this was a perfect place for our last meal in Chile before we left! Just the location in itself is absolute lovely, perched on the rocks a little above the sea level, you can watch the surfers in the bay and the fishermen on the rocks as well as the diving pelicans and occasional dolphin. It also gives the perfect 'air conditioning.' The food here is delicious...we all had fish, one with the shrimp topping, one with the mixed seafood topping (which was our favorite) and one plain, which was also good.More

Great waterside restaurant in Zappallar. They have a waiter that can speak English which is fantastic for non-Spanish speaking patrons. It was our first time having crab pie and it was amazing - very flavoursome and I have fallen in love with this dish. It...was washed down nicely with a pisco sour. 3 tres leches cake was great for desert. During the day you’ll get to see the dolphin and maybe a sea lion playing the water. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant when staying in Zappallar.More

This restaurant has an exceptional location right on the ocean. The service was very good. Reservations are recommended. The fish portions were very large. Side dishes were very large. The salsa was very good. I would eat here again.

This is truly a great restaurant with the staff fully engaged and customer focussed. Food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The view of the ocean with pelicans is exquisite too. Stay at Casa Wilson next door if you want to drink but are driving.
