Black Horse Tavern is 'off the beaten path' but if you want to try some good local dishes this is the place to go. The fish dinners are great and the fish chowder is tasty! give it a try!

Turned up in hope of usually excellent fish sandwich today, but place looked like it had been locked up for months. Will try again next weekend ... Maybe they were out fishing :)

By far there crumb topped lobster is AMAZING!!!!! We order a 4 pound lobster... it was fabulous.... Coconut Shrimp was delish.... Highly Recommend. NOTE: It is a rather far & costly taxi ride from Hamilton so be prepared.. Also have diver return to pick you up.

Nice waterfront spot with decent, reasonable food. Was here twice and liked it both times. Service was a bit slow the second time.

According to the local's, the manager and her husband got a new job in January and the Black Horse Tavern never reopened. However, the owner is trying to reopen so stay tuned as this place was an amazing restaurant.

The options in St. George's are limited, especially off season so I ended up here by default. The location is nice, right on the water and I was seated on the deck with a lovely view. I ordered Fish & Chips which was decent but not great and it was about $25. That's Bermuda for you. The staff were very... More

Sad news! Went to the Black Horse the first week in February and found it was closed. Never reopened after Christmas break. Neighbors said it is for lease or sale.
