The fish platter: local langoustines, mussels in sauce, great scallops.... seriously worth having. We also tried the calamari to start, and the squid was super fresh and tender. Service was friendly. We could only get a late table, worth it but do book ahead.

The place was packed and as soon as tables were cleared the waiting guests were seated (having taken aperitifs outside overlooking the harbour). Food was ordered and I was prepared for an average meal since the restaurant was so busy. I was certain the team behind the scenes would be flagging but NO! Out came each of our dishes without... When visiting delightful Plockton, I'd happened by on a village walk towards the end of the lunch hours, and having gained a table easily, decided to have a coffee and eat a little something. It was so good that I decided that was where I wanted to return for dinner later today. The food was unbelievably good. Departing diners at... More

Aaron from Rabbie's tours booked 16 of us here for our 'end of tour' meal. Delicious food cooked to perfection. The best meal we had on our 10 day trip. Though the Plockton Inn was close behind. Try the black pudding and blue cheese starter and the Skye brewed beer :) Don't miss out on experiencing this restaurant, great food... More

It's already been said but I'll say it again - this is a gem of a restaurant in a beautiful location. It's not a big place though so make sure you book. Food's honest and not fussy. Service is good and really fast given the size of the restaurant and the menu options. One not to miss if you're in... More

We visited today at lunchtime and just wanted coffee to takeaway. We were told that they were too busy to make takeaway coffee but if we came back later we could get some. How ridiculous! Surely it takes the same length of time to prepare coffee regardless of whether you wish to stay or go. Clearly not in Plockton.

We were visiting Plockton with a large group of friends. We were a group of about 20 people which the restaurant catered for exceptionally well in an extremely friendly and considerate way. The food was incredible - fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this restaurant - we absolutely loved it and already planning our next... More

We spent 23 days traveling around England and Scotland and never thought our best meal of the entire trip would be in the tiny village of Plockton! Staff are friendly and the food truly was amazing. Book ahead - it's a small place and very popular.

The Plockton Shores Restaurant was one of our best meals while visiting Scotland. As per any restaurant in Scotland, I suggest making a reservation. The restaurant itself has been updated inside hosting a very charming and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff was on point, friendly, and welcoming.
