Seafood was spectacular. I was not expecting to find such great food this far into the highlands. Beer selection was great. Bar tenders helpful in explaining local options. Did not make a reservation but able to grab a small table at the bar. Also love seeing all the dogs at the pub drinking with there humans.

Tapas type meals on a daily changing menu, although the food was good and well prepared it was a little limited to seafood. On loch inver in Scotland why should it not be mainly seafood? Two plates that were not seafood ran out and were not replaced. We went on a Sunday lunch to find the same tapas menus from... More

Unexpected menu, quality and presentation. Duck proved both generous in flavour and quality. Recommended for a first visit and justifies a second.

My title sums this place up. The small plates were not so small so we had a little too much food but took some of it away for a tasty lunch next day. The cooking is superb and had just enough added to make the very fresh seafood taste wonderful without masking its own great flavour. Wine was good although... More

I was in Lochinver in June and ate at the Caberfeidh twice. Their starters double as a kind of tapas, two starters being the equivalent of one main. I tried four of the starters in all. As dessert I had cheesecake and chocolate brownie. I found everything was good and an extra bonus was the good real ale. The bar... More

We stopped in here for tea with a dog and got a seat in the bar area - we ordered goats cheese, langoustine, scallops, mussels and chorizo, Goucons and everything was very tasty - particularly the scallops - friendly staff and other guests. All well presented - would definitely go back

The idea of a sharing menu is great, the quality of the food is fine, but some of the sharing dishes are not really suitable for sharing e.g. The grilled Camembert which ran all over the plate. Swapping the bar with the restaurant was a really good move as it makes the most of the river outlet location. Not first... More

We stopped in for drinks a d stayed cor did nor. The ambiance with the traditional pub atmosphere, the views, the service and the food were all perfect. Handsdown the best goat cheese salad I've ever had. It was refreshing to see a dining room run so professionally. Guests were seated so that everything wad timed beautifully
