Stopped for a cuppa, and this cafe did what it needed to do. Only 5/6 small tables, but a good selection of home made food. Soup, sandwiches and paninis looked good. We just had tea, with a cheese scone and toasted tea cake. Both were very nice, and the service was good. Very reasonable pricing too. Worth a visit.

Popped over the border and stopped at the Abbey View late in the day as they were still serving. Staff were very helpful, the food was quick to arrive and was enjoyable. Nice atmosphere in the cafe with the bookshelves and the view of the abbey was lovely

Dropped in for a break while driving to Scotland. Was disappointed with the toasted sandwiches, they were nicely presented with coleslaw and salad garnish but lacking in fillings so it was more like toast than a toastie.

called here for soup as it was freezing after a tour of the abbey .Not sure about trying to sell books as a side line though as area for perusal very tight and not conducive to bookbuying

Popped in for a quick light lunch on the way between historic Scotland sights. Service was great, cafe is small and homely with an awesome abbey view. The lentil soup was incredibly tasty as was the banana bread. We would highly recommend popping in here on a tour of the local sights.

Stopped here on our way to Edinburgh. Not the biggest place in Jedburgh but a really welcoming, clean, interesting cafe with great food at reasonable prices served by friendly, warm people. Would recommend it

Perfect little cafe close to town centre and the historic Abbey. Incredible value splendid coffee and blueberry cake to die for. So so friendly too and a reasonable selection of books to purchase. Will be back.

Had panini and coffee here after a morning of sightseeing in Jedburgh. Sat in the window looking across at the abbey, the sun shone, had tasty freshly prepped food, interesting books to peruse.
