Visited the cafe with relatives and had an excellent. The food, the presentation and the service exceeded our expectations, good value for money, one of the best in the area. The chicken pie was excellent, thank you to all for an excellent meal

We stopped off here for lunch. Absolutely nothing wrong with the food or service and it did what it says on the tin. The café was a little cold and would benefit from better heating...I could not say that it could be identified as Scottish as it did not have anything that really characterised it as Scottish. A simple eatery... More

I broke up a journey from Melrose to Newcastle at this restaurant on a Sunday Lunchtime. I had a bowl of soup which was really delicious. There was a really nice informal atmosphere and the prices reflected excellent value

We stopped here on the drive back home from the highlands as we fancied something other than service station fare. So glad we did! My boyfriend and I both had the Scottish breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the bacon was the tastiest I've had in a very long time! The staff were chatty and helpful... More

Called in for a light lunch and both of us opted for the soup and sandwich deal. We were not in the least disappointed, the homemade soup was excellent and filling, the toasted sandwiches were well filled and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return whenever in Jedburgh

Stopped here on our way to Edinburgh and were so impressed that we planned to stop on the way home too!! From the moment we went in, we were made to feel extremely welcome. All of the girls were so friendly and went out of their way to meet our dietary requirements. The food was absolutely delicious and all of... More

On a day trip to Jedburgh we visited on the recommendation from our bed and breakfast guide. An excellent lunch of proper homemade steak and pie was just the thing.

Stopped here on our way home on a cold, wet day and had a lovely lunch! Was quite busy but the service was very good and it was nice and warm! Had steak and ale pie, which was lovely and lots of fresh vegetables and new potatoes. Thoroughly enjoyed it - hit the spot. The staff were all young girls... More
