We visited with 3 children on a rainy day. The staff could not have been more accommodating pushing 2 tables together and bringing highchairs. They also brought books for the children to look at while we waited for the food. Excellent menu with good childrens selection. Also excellent gluten free and dairy free selection for my husband. Brilliant value.

May not have seen Jedburgh at its best in the rain but we found this cafe to take cover in and had a super lunch. It was difficult to choose from the menus but the soup and sandwich combo was super.

To be fair we arrived just before closing time and we were asked to sit one side of the cafe as the other part had been cleaned and cordoned off. There was a good menu, although we only had a cup of te and coffee. There wasn't a great selection of cakes on offer but this may have been because... More

During a brief tour bus stop, we wandered down High Street and found this delightful little restaurant. Nice menu, lots of vegetarian options as well. Found that the mac and cheese was popular and gave it a try. Best ever. We highly recommend.

Overflow seating in the back room admittedly isn't the most inspiring place to be for lunch on a warm summers day, but the high quality, tasty food and friendly service more than made up for it. Top notch ingredients and the chips are superb. Generous portions, reasonably priced and not a single dissatisfied customer among this family of four!

We were visiting Jedburgh and decided to have lunch here, the food was excellent. My husband ordered the steak pie which was delicious the staff had to apologise as there was not any pastry tops ready and explained there would be a 15 minute wait and we were quite happy to do this. The food arrived and because we had... More

We were driving from Newcastle to Edinburgh and stopped in Jedburgh for "light" lunch. This place was nice and clean, the menu had also good vegetarian and gluten free options. We had warm sandwiches and chips, they were OK, especially the men liked the haggis versions. The only complaint was that it took ages from us to pay; they were... More

We came here for a quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy but we still received excellent service. We had sandwiches and lentil soup and both of our meals were very good. I would definitely recommend Simply Scottish.
