We were invited to join our friends for dinner at the Greenwood garden, a restaurant they had been frequenting for over 20 years and highly recommended for its fantastic food. The portions were generous, the prices were surprisingly low, and the BYO policy was a welcome bonus. Our friends' enthusiasm was well-founded: the food was indeed magnificent, with dishes that were fresh, expertly cooked, and abundant enough to warrant taking some home. We have since returned with other friends, and we wholeheartedly recommend it as one of the best Chinese restaurants we've visited in a long time. The seating arrangement, featuring round tables, facilitated sharing and conversation, while the staff provided attentive service. We have every intention of making this our regular haunt.

Fantastic BYO chinese restuarant located at Greenwood Shopping Centre. We had succulent Honey Chicken, Sizzling Satay Beef, Sizzling Mongolian Pork, Hokkien Noodles, Fried Rice - more than enough to feed 6 adults with left overs. Great Service, This is your old school 1970's decor think orange laminated bench tops and the little fish tank - chinese restaurant - great value.

I have been coming here for years. Lately their prices are continually increasing…like fried rice for $17.50…come on…rice is cheap!!!
Last night 3/8/24 the service was shocking. They had heaps of people standing around, Uber Eats obviously more important than their patrons as they make most likely $5 on each meal there. We arrived at 6.30…never got our food till about 8pm. They advertise 10pm closing, we were told to leave at 9pm.
Have found another Restaurant close by who are cheaper and as good plus they deliver for $5 like Greenwood used to.
Money Hungry now they are!!!

Incredibly large portions of well prepared food. one main course could easily feed two. In particular the special fried rice was full of meat, prawns and was huge.

Been there many times beautiful went Friday. Absolutely disgusting price hike very small amount of food which was horrible. Two elderly lady staff defiantly not polite did not want to be there. Will not return

Only got a lunch-time takeaway. It was super quick and delicious. The only negative comment is I wish the chili's in my szechuan were chopped a bit finer. I love chili but whole ones a bit too touch to handle.

What can I say the absolute best in Perth. I’ve been to so many chinese restaurants in Perth and not one of them come close to greenwood Chinese. Always fresh and hot and excellent servings. Keep up the great effort guys. Hopefully one day you’ll open up a business in vic park area🤞🤞

Ordered takeaway 2 nights ago, still feel horrible! Woke up 3am with chest pains and sweating profusely... thought I was having a heart attack...apparently these are the severe side effects of MSG... never again!

Never disappointed yet we have tried many but find it’s better to stick with the Greenwood Gardens
Good size meals and the quality is brilliant and make sure you try the salt and pepper squid, they do a great batter
We will continue to be customers and look forward to the next eat

Went here last week for a family birthday , good thing we made a booking for 6.30pm (Friday) as by the time we arrived the restaurant it was completely full...many other large family groups in the restaurant doing the same thing.
I have been coming here for years , the food is always good , there was plenty of staff on hand and they let us bring a birthday cake in to celebrate, it was a most enjoyable nite will continue to keep coming.
A favourite , give it a try.

A weekend of takeaway whist moving in. Pizza on Friday and these guys tonight. Decent food, reasonably priced and they squeeze a load of food into those takeaway containers.
