We really wanted paella for lunch but they said they need advance notice but as we were their only customer for a late 2pm lunch they chef agreed. It was delicious brimming with clams, shrimp, mussels, squid, and langostinos.

Depth of flavour and some classic dishes point to talent and experience in the kitchen. Good wine list too. Delay in getting the very reasonable bill the only blemish.

This is one of my two top choices for restaurants in Santillana Del Mar. Order the Fillet Rossini, quite good.

Calamari was worse than frozen food from a supermarket. The salad had been prepared hours beforehand. Food is not freshly prepared and is EXTREMELY expensive. €18 for a plate of tasteless, cheap, deep fried frozen calamari. Do not go near this place.

A quick visit for lunch turned into a lovely experience. The tapas we shared were substantial and very well cooked and the bill was very reasonable. It is an excellent stop for lunch.

Had dinner for four together with pre-dinner drinks. Shared an excellent Paella de Mariscos. Cooked to perfection with good variety of seafood. Service was good and staff were friendly

We hadn't realised that Santillana was a tourist trap! Rather Disneyfied village - full of shops selling tat and over-priced bars and restaurants. We chose this place because it opened earlier for an evening meal. It was a cold wet night in May - and...More

We returned to this restaurant twice since it was very close to our parador. The food was delicious and the staff was great
