The place itself is very nice, its located aot of the city, but very close to the city Santillana. Restaurant atmosphere is medivel tower but still with a modern touch. Very peacful and beutiful. Its perfect place to come with the family and friends to spend good time. We had a early dinner, The food was outstanding and the stuff... More

When recently on holiday we wanted a restaurant to have a traditional long Spanish style Sunday lunch out in the country. This special restaurant ticked all the boxes and whilst surrounded by fields and having the impression of seclusion it was only a ten minute drive fron Santillana del Mar. Our reception was warm and friendly and we had a... More

Wooooh, first, thanks for all ! That restaurant is a gem, hidden in countryside around Santillana del Mar in a stone massive cottage. As soon as we entered here, things turned great thanks to a young but professional waiter. Excellent 25€ course made by starter, 2 mains and one dessert, all more exquisite than the previous ones. Favorite nonetheless goes... More

We had an amazing experience, spending half a day eating great food, carefully prepared, nicely presented, full of flavour and original. My only disappointment was the dessert, nowhere as good as the rest.

The palacio is in a nice rural setting and the building and rooms are tastefully decorated and pleasing to the eye. We went for our supper on a Saturday evening, there were a number of other tables booked too. The staff were all polite and attentive. They were able to advise and recommend regarding the food. We had the tasting... More

The land, their gardens and the view from them, the rooms, the attentive service and the detailed cooking. All of that ended with a reasonable price. Awesome experience.

We had lunch today at Palacio Mijares. What a great choice! First of all, it is worth to start saying that we had a 3 course meal with wine for around 40 Euro (2 people)... The decoration, food, service, and wine was simply perfect. An old palace very well refurbished and with beautiful views, a very well elaborated and delicious... More

if using a Michelin scale... definetely the good reviews about this place and the very handsome looks, tempted us to have a meal at this place. To access to this restaurant is necessary to have a car, since is located outside Santillana, in a suburb named Mijares (5 minutes drive from Santillana). Is an odd drive to the restaurant, passing... More
