WOW - you MUST go here. Book early and ask to sit right by the sea for the best views in the restaurant. Make sure you get there early enough to see the sunset, the views are simply divine. The food is incredibly tasty, looks beautiful and made up of an array of different flavours and textures... The service is... More

Booked a table for party of 6, two months in advance from New Zealand as was recommended restaurant by friends. Confirmed the booking twice by email beforehand and gave our hotel address (5 star Belmond Residencia). Arrived on time for dinner after quite a long drive and was told we hadn't confirmed and our table had gone. Despite our proof... More

It's perfect backdrop with the ocean and sunset setting. The food matched the setting. We had the smaller tasting menu and were wowed by the presentation and flavours. Service was also excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed which help make the evening. Would highly recommend

Beautifully presented cuisine in magnificent surroundings. A very special dining experience and highly recommended. I'd be worried about negotiating the narrow windy roads in a big car at night but the daytime drive is spectacular. High quality, interesting and expensive ingredients in the menu dishes (even salad dressing is a bit exotic for some) which might not always go down... More

The highlight of the restaurant is perhaps the views, it is quite stunning to sit and watch the sun go down with uninterrupted views. Match this with some top class food and decent wine makes for a really memorable evening. It is expensive, so if you go for the longer tasting menu, order a half decent wine, it will cut... More

You will leave this charming and beautifully set restaurant with a light wallet, as the bill will set you back several dozen euros, but it is an experience that you should treat yourself once or twice every summer. When you arrive, relax and enjoy the scenery with a summer wine (tinto de verano). The menu a la carte is skimpy,... More

Booked a lunch at Bens D'avall for my wife and myself. Turned up 5 minutes early on a roasting hot day, saw a couple of waiters inside who we thought were preparing for the lunch serving. The entrance door was locked, the waiters saw us stood outside but made no effort to let us in and they actually sat down... More

€94 a set menu... A good place to start. The good : The view is spectacular! Genuinely amazing! The bad : The service is NOT good enough. The manager / part owner took our wine order yet it took until the 3rd course to receive the wine order. In €94 food - to receive bones in our filleted fish -... More

I've been coming here for at least 15 years and this year they are totally at the top of their game. It's not cheap but each course is meticulously prepared and presented so well worth the price. A family run business in the best sense of the word. Degustation menu today simply fabulous. The son has joined the father in... More
