My wife and I decided to stop here for lunch as we had been on the road for over 5 hours. The food selection wasn't bad at all... I was able to choose from various veggie dishes and the Miso soup was one of the best I have had from a Chinese buffet. The server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well-stocked. We would eat here again if we were in the area!

My boyfriend and I ate here for lunch on 9/3/2019. The buffet price is on par with other asian/chinese buffets in the area and you get a very good value for what you pay. The buffet is one of the bigger buffets in the area and it offers a nice salad bar, sushi, desserts, as well as your normal chinese foods. There are plenty of seats for larger groups and the restaurant is handicapped accessible. A great location, as well, if you want to spend your day shopping and stop in for lunch.

Now, you must remember. You are in van Buren Arkansas. You cannot expect miracles! But this buffet was totally descent! I mean. Truly good. Selection is a bit limited. But I left very satisfied. I looked around at all the food searching for the typical" mystery meats". But found none. Only one dish looked suspect. I they surveyed the entire restaurant so look for the typical. Shifty eyed old Asian Grandpa in the background who rambles on in the background. Trying to find new ways of ripping us off. But I found none! I must say an 8/10. Considering where it's located. You can't loose here.

The food is below average, not much of a selection for vegetables. The ice cream machine was filthy, black spots left from fingerprints. The staff was friendly. We’ve been here before but it seems to be declining. We won’t be back.

I am the one person in my family who loves Chinese. My kids eat white rice and eggrolls and my spouse only eats a few more items, but when I am really hungry and have a craving for Oriental food, we go to the China Buffet. Then I sample a little of everything, especially the Beef and Broccoli and lots of the eggrolls and wonton. I even place a to go order for eggrolls if I am fixing stir fry at home.
I have heard others say that it has gone down hill, and I agree it wasn't good for a couple of months but then I think it changed owners and is once again delicious.

Maybe we went at a bad time and it is hard for these people to keep fresh out all the time. It was a Sunday afternoon. Some things were good others just to be avoided.
We will give them another chance and update the review.

I have eaten at the Golden Wok several times. It seems like it has gone downhill over the past few months. They have a good selection on the buffet and there is plenty of seating. The negatives: food is usually lukewarm to cold, if you go for an early lunch the food tastes like leftovers, the waitstaff and servers are not very friendly and the bathrooms need to be kept cleaner. I try to avoid it unless really wanting chinese and do not want to drive to Fort Smith.

I stopped here for dinner on June 2nd. In town on business and buffet was a quick and I do love the Chinese cuisine. Most of the food was Luke warm or cold. I almost did not stay but chose incorrectly to stay and eat. I got so sick. I will spare all the details. Just very ill while away from home is BAD!! Be safe my friends and stay away. No one needs to be that I'll from dinner.

Its a buffet. Expect buffet food. Actually, the food was pretty good. Just enough was on the line to keep it fresh, but not too little so that it would run out. The buffer lines were clean and cared for. The tables when we got there were clean. The mens restroom needs paint or something to remove the writing on the walls (but that happens a lot of places). The big kicker was the food server. the people sitting behind us and over a row had a small child that made a mess. He wasn't loud or disruptive. The dad even cleaned up the mess. It was obvious to me that the food server simply didn't want to deal with this child or family and those of us that were near them were penalized because of this servers poor attitude. I couldn't get a refill on soda nor water. This is one of those times where the server affected the overall rating in a big way.

I've been to several in this area and this is my favorite. Good prices, food is good and always hot. There have been a few times that I've had to wait for the most popular dishes to be made during busy times but not often. My only problem is getting drink refills. The waitresses never smile and seem a bit put off at times. Maybe it's just a different culture thing. I will definitely go back as I love the food.

This is, mostly, a typical Asian buffet restaurant, but they do offer a few things other similar places don't. They have decent steamed dumplings, fairly good sushi, and they always have salmon and/or crawfish. The food is usually hot and the steam tables are watched and stocked as necessary. One issue might be the service (depends on the day and the server). The service is not usually very friendly and the chances of getting a drink refill without having to ask for one is next to nil. Having that information in mind helps you realize you're not being singled out for inattentive service; that's just how they do things. All-in-all, I continue to go back, so that should say quite a bit about food quality.

Traveling across country and my daughter wanted a Chinese Buffet. The food and staff was average. She also went to bathroom and there was no toilet paper. If I was in area again, I probably would not go back...
